Does anyone know possession/body swap movies/episodes with bad ending? Those are the ones i know :
Skeleton key
Evil angel
Sliders - the breeder
Sea of souls - the prayer tree
The outer limits - the surrogate
The outer limits - ripper
Are you afraid of the dark? - Tale of the chameleon
The hunger - double & menage a trois

I spent a lot of time of this, i will update the list if i find more.

Define bad ending? if someone doesn't get his/her body back, is it a bad ending?

bad ending is when the possessor "wins", and gets to stay with a body

My thread is pretty much the same thing as this thread, just named "Unhappy ending" instead of "bad ending".

You know, most bodyswap/possession movies always end with a "happy ending" where the original person gets their body back at the end. "Bad" or "Unhappy"ending is where the possessor/swapper keeps the body at the end.

I was just posting that threat for him to add to his list.

well, if the "victim" doesn't return to his/her body but is happy to stay that way, is it considered bad ending?

if the “body snatcher" stays in the new body but dies, is is considered good ending or bad ending?

When the guy swaps bodies or possesses a woman's body and she doesn't get it back is a happy ending in my book. :)

R.L stine's haunting hour - ghostly stare
also lanima gamella has a different ending - the swap is pernament, but the characters learned to live with it

Moloch (2022), at the end mother sitting with her daughter, petting her head, looks at the window, a glowy figure appears there which happens to be the same person. then its shown that some sort of skeleton sitting with the daughter while real mother watches from the window indicating something has replaced the real mother and she cant do anything about it.
