Oculus Rift went on sale pretty much everywhere, so I gave in and
bought it. I've been looking for TG content or really anything from
the POV of a female and I've been pretty disappointed so far since
I haven't been able to find much.
Anyone know of anything? Feels like a missed opportunity.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oZgXph7bY0o - Suicide Squad Harley
Quinn POV
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6iANO40NC4w - Body Swap Experiment
(Two more videos like this on this video's channel.)

There are a lot of NFSW sites with this kind of content - WankzVR
has three completely free videos from a female POV as well. Sorry
if this any of this is content you've already found.

I highly highly recommend checking out some of the demos from
vrgirlz.com. All of the previously recommended content is video
driven, which given current limitations ends up being either a huge
download or a very poor quality video, and the sense of scale is
almost always off because of IPD variations among people.
VRGirlz does super high quality 3D scans of models in different
poses. Using your mouse or a gamepad, you can navigate around (and
change the scale) so that they are giant, tiny, or perfectly human
sized. You can even put your view so it matches the position of the
model's eyes. This along with matching up your real body positions
to the model's has given me the most intense feeling of having
another body that I've ever felt. Now that you've dug into the rift
you should really try it out.
And hey, maybe we'll see each other in some other multiplayer games
and never even know it.

A few things to check out:
Star Trek Bridge Crew — probably the best VR game going, plus you
can create a female or male avatar that you really embody. Too bad
there are no mirrors on the bridge, but you really feel "in there."
Embody Me — A demo app available on the Occulus store, you can
build your avatar that not only follows your movements, it even lip
syncs.unlike StarTrek, you can't see anything but your hands when
you look down, but there are lots and lots of mirrors. You can even
import an image for your face.

A couple of more things to try.
Dead Space — you play as a female investigator (with one arm in a
sling) you can both see yourself looking down and there's a mirror
in an early scene.
VTime — this is essentially an elaborate VR chat room, but it has a
very elaborate (if frustrating) avatar system. You can create male
and female characters and see them in the mirror as you're making
them. But once you are done, you're in the body. It supports touch,
so you can move your arms around. The avatar here is seated, while
the one in Embody Me is standing.
Pro Fishing — sounds unlikely, I know. But you can chose a male or
female avatar and there's a mirror in the clubhouse.

Thanks for all the recommendations!
Do you have a link to the dead space game? All I"m finding is the
horror game when I google it

Any more suggestions for youtube videos & channels too?

"Dead Space" is a 3rd-person action horror game starring a guy.
Deetoo probably meant "Dead Secret".
+1 for Star Trek Bridge Crew, which is probably the best TG
experience. You look down and see boobs in front of you and as
captain, you have your crossed feminine legs with knee-high boots
right in front of you. If you like feminine hands, Dead Effect 2 VR
and Raw Data are pretty good if you pick the female characters. It
helps that all three are pretty good VR games.

Yes, thanks. Dead Secret.
It's like a VR version of an old point and click adventure, played
from the body of a 20-something female journalist (who has one arm
in a sling, for reasons I don't recall).
Another big budget title with avatar cross-play is Elite. You can
select a female or male avatar, and as you fly around in your ship
get a good view of "yourself."
