It seems like MTF is more popular than FTM amongst both men &

Real women would be unlikely to post here as they would be
overwhelmed by all the tg fans and straight men wanting to discuss
and roleplay with them. And those who say they are could just be
anyone taking on a new identity online. One of my hurdles against
writing f2f stories is that I want realistic cisgendered female
perspectives and my querying on other sites have been with mixed
results. As much as we want our personal tf unicorns, I don't think
we will find them.

About MTF... maybe it has to do with the fact that "it's
humiliating for a man having to dress up as a girl", and this get
people get excited; both – men as well as women who enjoy imaging a
man being "humiliated by having to dress as a girl".
In the case of FT2... I think it's for similar reasons. Women pay a
lot attention in their appearance. So, for instance, it maybe
humiliating for a woman waking up in the the body of a ugly or fat
woman, but for a man... this wouldn't be such a big deal, because
society don't care... THAAAAAT much with this fact.
Just an opinion.

Maybe the reason is because we all love to see a person with
privilege loses them? Think about it, prior to the transformation
he has all the male privilege and enjoys all the perks of being
part of the more powerful gender, but after that he is emasculated
and loses all her former privilege and now being in more vulnerable
position in society.

Ah, and there's that "real women" phrase again (#8). Why do people
insist on saying something that is known really annoys a lot of
people and can be EASILY avoided?

People are talking about humiliation and loss for the reason
X-to-Female is more popular than X-to-Male. I think the answer is
more much simple: everybody loves women. Men love women. Women love
women. Women are undeniably by popular vote, the most beautiful
beings in the known universe, no exaggeration. Even if it's not
outright sexual, women can be "admired", "adored", they can be
cute, pretty, or well-sculpted on a platonic level much more so
than men. That's why more want to be them.
