The Martian Chronicles
WHITE MARTIANS ATTACK THE DEO — Armek (guest star Terrell Tilford),
a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M’gann
(guest star Sharon Leal) back to Mars to face her punishment as a
traitor. Hank (David Harewood) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist)
determine the best way to keep M’gann safe is to bring her to the
DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shape-shifted into
M’gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could
be disguised as any one of them.
Original airdate 2/6/2017
Obviously this is goign to be one of those who is it episodes and
it seems tha the Martian will disguise it self as one of the main
cast at least one but if done right I cen see it beeing enjoyable.

I hope Martian Manhunter morphs into Supergirl again. Maybe he can
be a little more family friendly and wholesome than the real
Supergirl was this weekend.

Yeah like our president right?

Oh sure you're referring to President Adama Barrow, no mistake.

No. I vote 3rd party. I just don't think Supergirl should be saying
words like that. In my opinion, celebrities are here to entertain
me. I don't give a crap that they're social justice warriors and
love Democrats. Entertain me. That's all I ask. They need to have
the mindset of "we are tonight's entertainment". I don't care about
their political views.

Apparently all this went over my head.. "...than the real Supergirl
was this weekend"?

Dirty liberal or not, Melissa Benoist is a solid 10.

Melissa Benoist, who plays Supergirl in the show was involved in
one of the women's protest against President Trump this weekend.
She held a sign that read "Hey Donald, don't try and grab my pussy.
It's made of steel."

Hey Bud, here's a crazy thought: People, including celebrities,
have lives outside of their jobs where they can do and say what
they want.
Wild, I know.

So we already know there's one MTF for sure (Armek as M'gann). Any
more are just a bonus.

Personally I'm hoping for a MTF into Lena Luthor. For those who
follow the show, does that seem plausible?

I've just always been the type that laughs as these celebrities
that think that I and others care about what they think. They are
here to entertain me. I don't care if they're having a hissy fit
over evil dummy Trump or if they think cars are going to flood the
Earth even though they live in fancy extravagant mansions.
I want entertainment. If I want political commentary, I'll ask for
it.

While you might not care, others do. Look up Jenny McCarthy and the
anti-vaccine movement.

It seems obvious to me that Bud voted for Trump (a lot of trump
voters say they vote 3rd party) and is obviously upset with what
Melissa Benoit said about him. I really don't care what she said
either way, but let's keep any references to politics in the future
out of here please!

The march triggered trump supporters so much that they gotta troll
message boards on sites that have nothing to do with politics. I
guess they need a safe space too. Also, is anyone on this site
supposed to care if super girl acts family friendly or not? You do
know this is a fetish site right? Smdh

Entertainment has a long history with carrying political thought.
Shakespeare, Moliere, Plato, and others did. In Superhero comics,
you see it appear like Captain America fighting Nazis before the
USA entered the war. Spider-Man dealt with drugs and X-Men is an
allegory of the other in our communities. Entertainment is a great
way to share political thought in a way which will make folks
listen.
If you think political thought isn't in our entertainment, please
refresh yourself on entertainment history.

Many of the plots of the original Star Trek were based on politics
and GR addressing social issues. I believe the Klingons were based
on US perception of the USSR and the Romulans on China. But the
most obvious plot example was the episode where the two characters
who are half-white and half-black hate each other because of which
SIDE is white and which is black.

Have there been any voice swaps/transformations/impersonations in
the series thus far? If not, here's to hoping this episode could be
the first.
