Also I'm confused about which ones of their recent uploads are
actually new. She made her old "Becoming A Nerd" private and now is
charging $5 to see "Nerd and Hot Girl Body Swap!". It's even the
same description and no disclaimer what so ever.
Don't know about you, but that is a little too "schemy" for me. I
don't think I'll continue to support her Patreon after this.

People work hard on those things so that we can enjoy them and we
should support them so that more of these can be made
That being said, I will not being watching it as she has yet to
make anything that has made me a fan

This seems pretty exploitative to me. I never really got why she
was making these videos since she didn't seem to be a "big" fan of
the material.

I can't help but roll my eyes when I hear the argument that her
work doesn't count b/c she's not a fan of the genre. For all the
live action pieces that have been made, only 3 creators I can think
of off-hand are specifically "into" the subject matter like we are.
Just about every other movie, TV show, short, youtube video, etc.
were pretty much one-offs made by people who generally focus on
other things in their other works. They are not the products of TF
or at least TG fans specifically. I've never heard anybody complain
that someone made a movie about TG TF and didn't try to make a
career out of it but only tried to make one "and so I don't like
their work!"
Now, if you just don't like her content and have other reasons
that's a fair and legitimate complaint and I can understand.
But I agree with Eli that this does seem pretty exploitative. To
charge for something that was put out for free a few years ago with
the hope of getting subscribers at the time is weird. James will
sell copies of the Wand of Change if you want quality hard copies
but kept it on youtube at the same time.
Also, $5 for a short seems steep to me, especially, considering I
was noticing earlier today the the people who made "The Gamers:
Dorkness Rising" (that has TG elements in it) have made a (I
believe full length) movie with lots of actors and are also only
charging $5. (It doesn't have TF of any sort, though)

So her patreons been funded for months which said 1 short per month
and we get 0? I would have donated once she started being
consistent and proving herself since she has pulled this stunt
before.

1. There are no new videos yet and there might not be anymore at
all.
2. Previews possibly coming eventually.
3. Morrph - videos note in description that it's old material. The
videos use similar descriptions, titles, and thumbnails as old
versions and were uploaded without notifying subscribers. We will
happily send your a refund if you were confused.
4. Some of the films are available for as little as 49 cents.
Still, this is niche content, with limited reach. If the market
isn't interested in the product, we'll just drop it and move on.
We're all busy, and involved in bigger projects currently, and we
need to come up with some sort of business model in order to
justify the continued production of these videos. We're fine if you
don't like our content, or favor whatever else. I'm not sure what
the reason is for such vocal hostility.
5. No money was taken from anyone on the now defunct Patreon.

So glad I locally downloaded the possession series she did with
James which is pretty much the only thing I ever genuinely liked
from her channel. Now I can peacefully never pay attention to her
again. #WrenWho?

I might not like this move from Wren, but she was pretty cool to me
when I asked her permission to use a picture of her. I was writing
a caption, and asked if I could use her photo; she said yes.
