I've just started my latest series, The Noob. It's follows the
adventures of Evan, a young man who's become trapped in a fantasy
MMORPG in the body of his female elven rogue. It's a big,
sprawling, 54-part fantasy epic, and I think it's quite good. I
hope you guys do, too. :)
You can check it out here:

If anyone's interested, I've just begun a new series. It's a
different sort of series from the series I usually write, in that
it's sorta-vaguely-semi-autobiographical.
As readers of my blog will know, I have a frame story where I,
Swapgirl, have become a woman through mysterious means. Everything
I write in my blog is written "in character", so to speak, as this
(much more fortunate) version of myself. I tell the frame story
largely through pseudo-autobiographical "diary" captions that
parallel my real life to some extent.
As many of you will also know, Celebswap has a concept in his blog
called the Randomizer, about a device that allows him to
temporarily transform his readers into random female celebrities.
I've been thinking about adapting the idea of the Randomizer in my
diary stories; so, when Celebswap recently began posting new
captions, I took the opportunity to discuss the idea with him. So,
Celebswap spun the Randomizer for me, and "I" have become Jennifer
Aniston. :)
For the next two weeks, I'll be posting daily diary captions
exploring my time as a Jennifer Aniston lookalike. My diary
captions are all about imagining how I, with my particular
personality and experiences, would react to becoming a woman, and
examining gender transformation from a very grounded perspective;
and I'm taking the same approach with my Randomizer captions.
They're essentially a thought experiment in which I imagine what I
would actually do if I became a copy of a female celebrity... or,
rather, what I would do if I became a female version of myself and
THEN became a copy of a female celebrity a year later.
This series won't appeal to everyone; for those of you who prefer
my regular fictional captions, they'll be back in two weeks, along
with a new series. But for the next two weeks, I'm taking some time
to explore something a little different. :)
Thanks to Celebswap for letting me borrow his concept! :)

Having wrapped up my Randomizer captions, I've resumed my regular
capping schedule.
Fans of my recent series The Noob may be interested to know that
I'm running a brief epilogue series that checks in with Evan and
Paul 437 years after the series ends:

Your Randomizer cap series is one of the best I've ever read. I
sincerely hope you get hit by it again so you can chronicle your
journey in another body.

Thanks, guest. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) I wasn't sure whether
people would like my Randomizer series, but they seem to have
enjoyed it.

I've started another series, Man the Barricades. It's a series set
in my Chrono Corps series, loosely inspired by Les Miserables. The
first part went up yesterday; you can find it here:

Readers of my blog will want to pay attention to it today. There's
a significant new development in my diary captions, and I'll be
posting several captions today as I react in "real time". I'll
probably be putting out more content today than I have at any time
in the history of my blog.
More later.

Now that most of today's diary captions are up, a few words about
this latest "plot twist."
As my readers know, one of the central concepts in my blog is my
diary captions, semi-autobiographical captions in which I imagine,
in real time, what my life would be like and how I would respond if
reality were altered such that I had been born as a woman. My
readers will also know that, a few weeks ago, I wrote a series of
diary captions based on Celebswap's "Randomizer" concept, in which
I became a Jennifer Aniston lookalike for two weeks.
If you haven't read the diary captions I've posted today, "I" have
discovered that reality has changed yet again, and so now I've
always looked like Kristen Bell. This is meant to build on my
Randomizer captions. The idea, as I'll explore a little bit later,
is that the Randomizer has combined with whatever mysterious force
has altered reality and made me a woman, and the result is that
reality has been altered to make me look like a random celebrity.
I came up with this idea when I was writing my original Randomizer
captions, and I've been working on it since then. Originally I had
Celebswap use whatever mysterious methods he uses to pick a random
celebrity for me to become; but the celebrity he came up with is
not someone I would immediately recognize. I tried to find a way to
pick out another random celebrity, but was I was doing so, I
realized I needed a celebrity who fit a very specific set of
parameters. So I hand-picked Kristen Bell, because she fit my needs
rather perfectly.
This Kristen Bell storyline allows me to explore the central
concept of my diary captions--how my life might change if I had a
different body, and how I would feel about that body and the
resulting changes, from a slightly different perspective. It also
lets me use a different set of images for a while, which is
welcome, lol. And, to the extent that my diary captions are wish
fulfillment, this adds a little novelty to that wish fulfillment.
I hope people enjoy this new phase of my diary captions. A few
people, including Celebswap himself, have said they want me to give
the Randomizer another spin. This isn't quite the same as my first
set of Randomizer captions, but hopefully it touches on some of the
things people liked about those captions.
Will I ever become my normal female self again? You'll have to keep
reading to find out. :)

I started a new series recently, if anyone's interested. It's
titled "Miss Doubtfire", and it's pretty much exactly what it
sounds like: it's a very loose adaptation of the Robin Williams
movie "Mrs. Doubtfire". It follows a divorced father who uses the
Medallion of Zulo to become a nanny to his son.
Hopefully everyone enjoys it. :)

I've just begun my latest series, Dial H for Heroine. It's a
superhero series about a man who finds a device that allows him to
transform into a random female superhero. It's a loose TG-themed
adaptation of Dial H for Hero (but don't worry; it doesn't require
you to be familiar with Dial H for Hero or DC Comics more broadly,
as it takes place within an original universe). Dial H for Heroine
is a lengthy, action-packed series with dozens of individual
transformations; hopefully people enjoy it. :)
The series begins here:
