Here are some summaries of Margosha Season 2 Episodes Highlight
moments, from the TG perspective. (Is this the right thread for
episode summaries?)
I'm not putting them in spoiler, because there are 90 episodes for
Season 2, the episodes are in a foreign language, and these aren't
full summaries. These will help people viewing the videos to find
some obvious visual TG scenes and they are less than a TV Guide
description of TG transformation related highlights.
Early on in Season 2, this was the most cliché of the series, and
made it so I didn’t watch season 3 until recently. Season 3 was a
lot better.
Season Two starts out with Margo and Andrei dating for the first 10
episodes. But Natalia is in the picture also. Lots of fantasy stuff
peppered throughout the first 10 episodes. Also, the friend Anya is
calling Margo “Gosha” through most of the early on of this season.
Andrei stands up Margot several times for dates when she girls
herself up. Andrei had gotten Natalia pregnant and he is there for
emotional support. He’ll later get her pregnant again in this
season. Both abortions, I believe. But in Russia, the values are
different. It is still upsetting to them, and Andrei does what he
feels is right giving Natalia emotional support, even though he
seems to love Margot.
Episode 1—Margot wears a tight red dress and black high heel pumps
on a date with Andrei. Her hair is in an updo, with a red rose hair
piece holding it together. She is wearing a pearl necklace. But no
earrings. Her makeup is sparse and he lips are dull. No lipstick is
visual. You can see some acne scars and moles on her face.
Episode 10—To get ready for a date with Andrei, she puts cucumbers
on her face and wears more pronounced red lipstick with her red
dress. This may be an evolution in Margot’s makeup. Her skin looks
flawless compared to episode #1 of Season 2.
Episode 11—Some new temporary guy to the office corners Margot and
puts his arm around her and grabs her butt. She resists him, but
Andrei sees them. It is tension. It happens at the very end of this
episode and is repeated at the beginning of Episode 12. The waist
part of her shirt on one side is up a bit, exposing her skin.
Episode 13—gets hypnotized at couples resort.
Episode 14—Wears black nightgown instead of Gosha’s pajamas. Seems
to have a brief fantasy about Andrei while wearing the nightie.
Episode 19—Andrei fantasizes about Margot. It appears Margot tells
Andrei who she really is (Gosha) and then Andrei can’t get it out
of his head. When Andrei is upset by this confession, Margot cries.
One on one with Anya after the incident in Margot’s apartment, Anya
calls her Margot, not Gosha. She goes to bed in the blue flannel
pajamas that are a staple of Gosha.
Episode 20—Margo and Andrei appear to break up and Margot cries,
ruining her mascara bigtime.
Episode 21—Back to the flannel pajamas and sort of male clothes
around the house. Makeup and lipstick are becoming more obvious at
the office. Shot of her typing on her laptop at home with French
manicured long fingernails.
Episode 26—the guru who hypnotized her comes to the magazine and
they do a feature on him. Later he gives Margot a sensual massage
in her home.
Episode 35—The fiancé of Margot’s body finds her. Margot feigns
amnesia. There are pictures of them together. In the picture she is
wearing earrings.
Episode 37—Margot has verbal exchanges, one involving the police,
with someone named Rita, who I presume is relaqted to the fiancé of
Margot’s body. She shows Margot more pictures and a video of her
interacting with a man who isn’t the fiance. Margo is wearing large
earrings in all of the pictures and the video. Margot is in a
picture with one arm around Rita and one arm around a man who isn’t
the fiancé I referred to earlier. The video of Margot walking buy,
the guy sweeping her up, and them kissing is at 42:24. She is very
disturbed watching this. Later she continues to watch video of them
her body and the guy kissing and frolicking with public displays of
affection. She seems fascinated and shocked by this. She can’t stop
watching. It seems to ratchet up the stakes. Rita says her brother,
the fiancé almost drank himself to death after this incident. The
guy who the original Margot is hanging on, I believe is coming
around Margot’s office. There was a scene earlier that I didn’t
note, where he had his arm around Margot and grabbed her butt. She
rejected him. Now to see this on video has Margot shocked.
Episode 48—She kisses her long lost fiancé in order to keep him
distracted so someone can sneak out. Episode 48 at 43:45. Her new
fiancé, Pasha grabs her and kisses her passionately at the office.
Episode 50—Pasha the fiancé brings her a gorgeous wedding dress. It
is a white strapless mermaid dress with lots of ruffles below the
knee. Once alone, she tries to keep it boxed up, and tries to
ignore it, but she ends up pulling it out and holding it up to her
body in front of the mirror. Soon enough, we are in another dream
sequence. She fantasizes about wearing it, and in the dream
sequence, she is marrying Andrei, not the guy she is actually
slated to marry. The dream sequence starts at 10:50. In the
fantasy, she is wearing earrings.
Episode 53—I think the guy Margot was in the videos with is in the
office. Back at home, she is still wearing flannel shirts to bed.
This will shift in Season 3. Let’s see when it happens.
Episode 58—Margot wears the shortest dress I’ve seen, as she comes
over to see Andrei. They make out.
Episode 61—Margot in bed with Andrei is wearing a black negligee
that becomes a staple of her sleeping in Season 34. It isn’t that
sexy, but it isn’t her male flannel pajamas either.
Episode 62—Early in the episode, they cut away to some woman we
have never seen before. She is looking at childhood photos of a
little girl, and then we see it is the Margot body. The Margot body
has her hair in ponytails and is wearing prominent purple earrings.
Later, Natalia and Andrei are watching a TV show and laughing.
Margot comes out of the bathroom in a red long robe, the black
nightie, and she is playing with her hair. She brushes her hair in
front of Andrei. Andrei doesn’t notice and laughs at the TV with
Natalie. Margot walks into the other room and throws the hairbrush
on the couch.
Episode 73—At 14:58 there is a shot of her French manicured
fingernails. This was not the case in Season 1.
Episode 82—Her Fiancé is wearing the plaid pajamas. She is wearing
a red long robe and a mid-length nightgown.
Episode 86—She wears earrings. Margot is in a rose petal halter top
ball gown and Andrei is in a long tail wedding style tux with a red
bow tie that matches her dress. Later she is wearing red opera
gloves, has red lipstick, and wears what looks like a white fur
shawl. The event seems to be a pre-wedding event. And yes, she is
wearing earrings. So 166 episodes into the series, she wears them
for the first time for real.
Episode 87- She steps out of the car. She lifts the skirt of her
ball gown off the Russian icy sidewalk and runs in heels. They have
a close-up of her feet revealing her red heels and white stockings
under her dress as she lifts her ball gown skirt. Her hair is down,
but clipped back. She turns her head and we see dive red flowery
metal hair pins keeping her hair elegantly out of her face. Cut to
scene at wedding party. No one knows where she is. Cut to Margot.
She is back at the apartment. She can’t show up. She calls Andrei.
She sits alone. After a few scenes with other characters, she is at
her original body’s sister’s fiancé’s home. Eventually Andrei and
Margo end up at the office dressed in their outfits, with Margot
still in in a red satin gown, opera gloves and earrings.
The band that sings the opening performs at the reception (I love
that song and the video.)
Episode 89—She meets her male body at the end of the episode. Tears
well up in her eyes.
Episode 90—After delaying her date with Andrei due to her encounter
with her real body, she fears she loses him. But they connect and
kiss to end the season. The relationship between Margot and her
real body causes a lot of tension in season 3. She will bond with
the person in her body, in a non-sexual way in Season 3, making
Andrei jealous.

I don't know why so many people are against Margo's decision to
break up with Andrei & marry the new Gosha. I think they are sweet
together!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's 13 versions of
this show, 14 if you count the US pilot and 15 if you include the
original Argentine trailer with different actors. Why would you
want the exact same thing to happen as so many of the others?
I like how the Russians take an concept from somewhere else, remake
it, and once they reach the end of the original source material,
they just keep on going somehow. They've done it with everything
from this to Married With Children as well as no end of other
things.

In the Russian version of Married with Children they had held a
contest for fans to submit ideas after they ran out of material to
adapt from.
If the producer of Margosha did the same they would definitely came
out with a better version of the story with better reception from
fans and the series could went on for longer period of time before
it it eventually bites the dust.
The decision to pair of Margo with Gosha & break her relationship
with Andrei was not well-received by fans and that was what killed
the series. That is totally avoidable if they had think to consult
the fans first.

LOL I see no reason why producer must consider fans' opinion when
writing script. Those who do so will end up pandering to the base &
write a lot of fanservice craps.

The Russians made 240 episodes in 3 seasons (that's like more than
10 years worth of the usual number of episodes the average season
of US TV did back then at 22 episodes/season) and brought the show
to a natural and what I thought was a decent conclusion.
This one did in effect do the ending of the original but also go
beyond where the original one did. Also, as I've said before, it's
nice to see something different to most of the other versions.

One of the interesting things about season 3 of Margosha is that
the new Margot is not in love with her former body, and yet the new
Gosha is making unwanted advances. It is really the only of the
Lalolas that has the new woman taking lots of passes from a man she
doesn't want.
In season 3 Episode 15 of Margosha, the new Gosha grabs and kisses
Margot in front of Gosha's parents. In Season 3 episode 75 Gosha
puts his arm around new Margot at the office and she visibly is
uncomfortable. There is also an episode where Gosha grabs Margot's
butt in front of Gosha's parents. They actually do it twice in the
episode. There are other examples as well.

Well, there is
that scene where she fantasizes about shooting dead her old body
which kind of stood out ...
