There are some symbolisms in this show, like the apple Ariel is offering Stan here (see above picture) will change him into Brenda (the woman he becomes). The apple is the symbol of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil (the one that cursed humankind into sin in the Bible). Brenda is offered a cup to drink from to transform back into Stan at the end, which may symbolize the Holy Grail. Interesting, no?
