What about the 'Transformation Rock' series by Zedd?

From: cj , 102 months, post #2
Added to the list and entry started.

Thanks kronis!

Not sure if this qualifies but the webcomic Cura Te Ipsum has a man meet a veritable multitude of alternate versions of himself including female versions of himself as well as others who become his enemies. Some versions of himself have the ability to warp reality and even body forms I think (been a while since I read it so not absolutely sure of that last detail).

Suffice to say, depending on the world and the circumstances, he turned out quite differently in many, many places.

"Not sure if this qualifies... the webcomic Cura Te Ipsum..."

From the Fictional Worlds and Universes entry description:
"To be included in this list, the world / universe must have been open at some point in time for stories from other authors; have had more than... two... five... ten... ??? stories set in said universe; OR must have captured great interest from the transformation or transgender community."

Since it is just one story (albeit, a multiple entry webcomic), it probably doesn't belong in the entry's list. It sounds like it could qualify for its own entry though (warping reality and body forms).

IMO, the world / universe that this one creation is set in, doesn't qualify as it is just one story... there is no description of how or what or why, or set of rules to follow, and there's just the one creative team, it's not open for others to write in.

Not only that, but it doesn't sound like this universe begets changes/transformations, it just allows for different versions of characters that existed elsewhere (no TFs by the "universe" itself).

But feel free to submit "Cura Te Ipsum" for its own entry, if you can find some confirmation of an actual TF in that webcomic. Thanks.

Would Overlord's net series, the" World of Zhor" qualify inside the category? The address can be Googled. It is basically a "John Norman's Gor" take off, where science has created a genetic cocktail that carries the DNA of a female donor (usually a very beautiful and sexy one) that can be injected into a recipient, usually an unwilling one, to bring about a total body transformation. Extra DNA is added to the soup to make the resulting female into a sexually-active natural slave, much like Norman's slave girls. The world and culture is much like Gor's, except it is set in an alternate dimension of Earth, not on an alien world. There are no tarns (giant riding eagles), but horses are used (probably brought over from the Earth dimension -- along with ancestors of millions of human beings -- thousands of years before). The serum is used to punish criminals and to profit from war captives (especially those whose city fails to pay ransom). Why imprison or execute a captive if private masters can purchase convicts and prisoners of war at good prices, and also see to their good behavior at their own expense?

Aardvark has a long novel set on Zhor at Big Closet, "Warrior of Batuk." At Fictionmania, Ranbarth has a novellette called "The Lancer's Tale." Christopher Leason has a short story set on Zhor called "The Stake War." Find it at:

http://dancebodyevidence.altervista.org/the-stake-war-of-zhor/?doing_wp_cron=1449263852.6440660953521728515625

Of modest length, Stake War serves as a good introduction to the universe.

These stories are sexy, but fairly tasteful and characters are handled skillfully. The erotic premise of the world shows through in all these adventures.

"Would Overlord's net series, the" World of Zhor" qualify inside the category?"

A few quick searches and finds seems to indicate that it would.

This, seems to be the most complete description and rules list that I saw in my short search:

http://www.pornhome.com/stories/zhor/world.htm

I'll add an entry for Zhor later (today, hopefully)... but trying to go through those rules and so forth, looks like it will be a project for a team, or a really big fan. But at least there's a good place to start.

Thanks, Rah Kursk, for the introduction to Zhor.

Zhor entry added and ready for editing.

From: guest (Rah Kursk) , 102 months, post #8
Glad you included World of Zhor, cj. Your entry lacks author and contact information, unfortunately. The site master is called Overlord, who seems to have created Zhor. His contact address is j3n1l8@gmail.com. I've corresponded with him and he seems to be a nice guy, quite willing to answer questions about Zhor. He's posted that the Zhor universe can be considered an open universe. His "World of Zhor" essay is intended to give fans a full briefing on the universe, but its creator doesn't demand that anyone should follow it religiously. In personal correspondence he says that he would like to be sent a copy of any future materials that are made from the universe information that he provides, not to criticize them, but just because he likes to see that people are enjoying Zhor and also because he enjoys reading other people's work spun out of the Zhor idea.

Thanks Rah Kursk -- I wasn't sure that Overlord was the creator or not. I'll add that info. Feel free to alert him to our inclusion of it here, we'd love to have him check the entry out (and edit it, if needed).

Also for a thread specifically on the Zhor world - simply start a new thread with that in the title, if it looks like I should attach it to the Zhor entry, I will do so. :-)

Hi, cj.

I have been alerted to your Zhor entry on your Universe page. http://metamorphose.org/entry/show.htp?rowid=9273&se0=entry&se1=show

I don't know how to contact you more directly, so I'll put the information you would like to have here.

I've checked over your Zhor entry. Here is my attempt to fill in the blank spots.

The creation of Ruk's serum. True, a female slaver had it created. But she didn't do it herself. She employed the master geneticist Ruk to do it. The science he used was so advanced that people have speculated that he was guided by the hidden gods (aliens) of Zhor, the Overlords. Possibly the Overlords wanted to put Zhorian societal evolution on a slightly new track from the one that had existed for centuries, and so have intervened in this way.

  • Permission required: None. I provide a very detailed background article to Zhor at my website http://www.pornhome.com/stories/zhor/world.htm, but I don't insist that everyone do things the way I do. Incidentally, keep checking the article, readers. I have a few more new details to add, and I have also seen that there are quite a few typos that need to be fixed. I want to do the revision work soon, now that there has been some renewed interest.

  • Permission contact. Well, the Zhor universe is mine, but I hold it to be an open universe, no prior permission required. Post anywhere. One may even post for money, such as at Kindle Books, if one likes. I enjoy reading substantial works set on Zhor and want to put no obstacles in anyone's way. I request (not require) that people share a copy with me of what new works by them are written. My contact address is found at my website, http://www.pornhome.com/stories/zhor/

I have not been active on the site for the last few years (life happens), but there is quite a bit of Zhorian material already there, with lots of illustrations. I still hope to put new work up in the future, especially if people send me some of theirs, which hasn't happened during my hiatus time.

  • Rules. There are no rules, only an informational essay about how Zhor society works. I'd be very pleased if someone made a real game (such as a frp game) out of the material. I'd also like to see artists doing illos based on incidents that could possibly occur on Zhor.

Here is a little background re the Zhor universe creation. I enjoyed John Norman's Gor books, but thought it was too bad that, with all the scientific advances that exist on Gor, it was totally without any tg elements, especially in light of the unbridled sexuality of Gorean society. I was at first going to introduce the world to the net as Gorean fan fiction, but at the last minute decided that it would be better to have more creative freedom by making it an original world, something like Gor, but not the same place. I suspect that John Norman would appreciate that. I placed it on a parallel world from Earth, so that it would be easier for earthlings to reach Zhor. It is possible that some Bermuda Triangle portals lead to Zhor, for example. Both agents of the Overlords, and agents of the Outsiders (their enemies) cross back and forth between dimensions.

Both sides sometimes take earthlings back to Zhor for their own various reasons. A fair number of these abductees end up as pleasure slaves. Like, someone who learns too much about their clandestine activities might be abducted. Then, too, If someone has good genetics that these aliens want to introduce to Zhor, they might be taken away as well. There is not much that the aliens like about Earthers (too angry and chaotic), but they do think that their taste in lingerie is very good, and also their dances, such as the striptease, which they call "the dance of slow revealing." Earth fashions have influenced the fashions for slave girls on Zhor.

That's about it, cj. I hope it helps.

Overlord of Zhor -- I've updated the entry for "The World of Zhor" ( http://metamorphose.org/entry/show.htp?rowid=9353&se0=entry&se1=show ) updated.

Mostly copied text from your post. I hope that it's to your liking. The only thing that we seem to be missing is the first story title and the year (or date) which it first appeared.

The best way to get in touch with me is this Message Board.

Thanks for stopping by and helping us add (the correct information) to the database!

And of course, I'm away from home for a couple weeks and can't contact Overlord through his website due to content blocking at this ISP... *sigh* Oh well, I'll if someone else wants to alert Overlord before I get off this restricted ISP, please feel free.

cj,

In answer to your question about what was the first Zhor item posted and when it went up, by the best memory I have (of the very many works done that year) is that it was "The Racers" http://www.pornhome.com/stories/zhor/overlord/limericks/racers.jpg and the time was September of 2005. A lot of my pieces would be of the same setup of Racers, an evolution of the captioned image format. Others were somewhat longer. But a couple of my favorite postings were actually authored by others.

The Zhor page was started as part of a site that Freya had back then and I was just a contributor. I had created the Zhor idea and did all the early work, but I did not have my own website. The Zhor material came to Freya so prolifically, however, that she couldn't spare the time to be webmaster for all of it. She asked me to take over the Zhor portion of her site, and I did. I worked on it quite hard until the spring of 2010, when constrictions on my free time took me away from the site. But there has been some work done by others since then, not all of it published on the Zhor site. Check Fictionmania and Big Closet especially, for Zhor pieces done by others. And Christopher Leeson has some Zhor work posted at The Full TG Show. Check out, especially, his most recent version of "Busted" there. (The unique thing about that one is that it shows how a Zhorian serum girl would fit in, or not fit in, while working a job on the planet Earth.)

Excellent information Overlord! I've added it to the entry for your world here as well. I even created a "Origin & History" section for some of that 'behind the scenes' type of stuff.

Thank you, once again, for stopping by to help us accurately list your universe.

RE: "The Joe Bates Saga" (post 15)

The description seems to indicate that this is just one story, albeit by new authors who are trying to keep the story going.

Since I don't have time to read the entire 58+ chapter saga... is "The Joe Bates Saga" really a universe, open to new stories... or is it just one ongoing story?
