I really like the identity theft horror genre, where a person
attempts to steal another person's body, identity, or life. There
are some excellent ones on Fictionmania, which I'll list below.
Are there any good identity theft stories that are not on
Fictionmania? If so, what are some of your favorites? I'd love to
know, whether they are F2F, F2M, or M2F.

How do I bypass that stupid ad on Fictionmania? It is just a little
rectangle and there is no x button or anything, only a link to the
ad's website (glamour or something?) but I refuse to click it.
Any advice? I've already tried reloading the page and opening it in
several different tabs. Same result.

You can't "bypass" that add. That add is for Fictionmania's
sponsor,
Glamour Boutique. They make Fictionmania possible.
How can that little ad possibly bother you? It is very unobtrusive,
being that it is way at the bottom of the page. Just don't scroll
all the way to the bottom, if you don't want to see it. Sheesh!

Thanks for the Emma Finn recommendation, guest. I've read almost
all of her stories (and even purchased a couple of her e-Books) but
it is good to list her website here for others.
And thanks Eric, for your recommendations. It's been awhile since
I've read Mind Swapping so I'll have to take a look at it.

Is there a comprehensive list anywhere of the good identity
theft/possession stories on FM? Because they added the tag in only
2012 or something it's impossible to find them in the midst of
generic body swaps.

I think the stories involving the costume gun and/or skinsuits can
sometimes mean there will be identity theft involved so you might
wan't to check them too...

There used to be an amazing captioner named Jen Derbender who made
ID theft her central theme, usually via surgery or masks/bodysuits.
Whereas most captioners were content with a sentence or two, Jen
would usually do 7 or 8 full paragraphs per image and even whole
caption sequences (her longest "story" I think was about 50 "pages"
long). For my money she was the best writer on the subject.
Sadly she retired from the scene about 10 years back. About half
her work (some going back to the Lycos Smartgroup days) are
archived over at Rachel's Haven. It's free to join and might be
what you're looking for.
WARNING: Whoever uploaded the material used one default size so all
of her longest works are unfortunately unreadable. But I think at
least a hundred captioned images are still legible and therefore
pretty enjoyable.

section.

I'm glad that you enjoyed my stories on FM! I've got a couple of
others that are somewhat id theft-ish . . .
In "League of Assassins" Master Hand steals Jessica's identity.
"Halloween Voodoo" is horror and ID theft
"Organized Crime" and "A Very Reluctant Bride" also have elements
of ID theft and evil winning.
Over the last couple of months I've writen a few short stories and
have been working on some CAPs . . . I've got a new
collaborator/partner and we plan to start a blog and begin posting
our work . . . more info to follow soon!

Hi, Guest, and Jol12dec,
Thanks for reading my stories! League of Assassins has sort of
stalled out. Mr. 20" Biceps has been pinging on me to finish it. My
life outside of writing has gotten super busy (we all have to pay
the bills) and I've only been doing shorter projects . . . that and
I wrote a book I want to release on Amazon some day, but its in the
editing/re-write stage, so its not ready for anyone to read just
yet. I guess that was a long answer to a short question . . . I
don't know when I'll finish League. But I haven't forgotten about
it!
