The Great Shift
(Text courtesy of crestf July or August 2015, from story linked below)
Some of you may have noticed that I have a tendancy to do a lot of
body switching stories. I tend to enjoy the idea, as well as messing with
families a lot, due to the multiple relationships suddenly change ...more |

Does anyone know if the great shift has a rules page? How long did
the shift last? Can you get shifted into a pregnant woman? If you
do swap back, if your body died do you stay in that body? If it's
permanent do retain your possessions or do you gain the bodies
possessions? Education, do gain their level or retain your own? Was
there any laws governing the shift?
Thanks

To answer your specific questions....
The Shift is permanent, and no one swaps back (though there's a
very small number of stories in which people do swap back). You can
get shifted into a pregnant woman. You retain your own level of
education; the Shift is a purely physical swap, with no mental
changes per se.
Generally speaking, people retain their own possessions rather than
their body's possessions, though in many cases, naturally, people
decide to exchange clothing (this is generally an informal
agreement between two or more people, though, rather than an
enforced law).
Other legal issues vary from story to story and caption to caption.
The general trend, though, is to resettle people back into their
old lives as much as possible. People return to their old homes,
their old families, their old marriages, their old jobs, their old
schools. What they do from there, though, is up to the individual
rather than being legally mandated.
