In response to rugal (post no. 7): I agree with your assessment of
Chris Clearmont. He was most definitely into TF material. There
were body swaps, inanimate, age regression, and numerous
miscellaneous TFs. I can think of at least 3 occasions when he
turned female characters into what I call human squids for lack of
a better term (they had tentacles instead of arms).

@ghah: I would be interested in the buffy scene as well as some
other people here, do you know which episode it would be?

RE: Buffy "Mirror Scene"
The all-knowing Google seems to indicate that this would
most-likely be from Season 4, Episode 16: Who Are You?

Yeah, I'm gonna say that Buffy scene mentioned was probably the one
the original poster was referring to. It had a lot of details about
being in another person's body that wouldn't really get picked out
by someone out of our area. Though it's likely that was just
because of Whedon's amazing attention to realism in general (my
opinion, of course).
cj, can I ask what Katee Sackhoff specific media/interview made you
think she's "one of us"?

Almodovar is a Spanish writer/director who's done pretty much only
movies which are female-centric since "Women on the Verge of a
Nervous Breakdown", "All About My Mother", "Volver" with Penelope
Cruz, etc. I think it was "Talk To Her" where he had a scene which
was a story-within-a-story where a guy shrunk down small enough he
was able to climb back into the womb, complete with the worlds
largest, most ridiculous prop which was hokey looking for comical
effect but was otherwise anatomically correct. (I'll let you guess)
His most recent work to get broad release in the US was "The Skin I
Live In"

Thank you guest 15, I was looking him up the other night and notice
"The Skin I Live In" in his credits. I've only seen some of that
work, and he immediately made it to my "to check out" list.
@ tehswitcher --
Katee was actually one of the very rare ones where I based my
opinion... pretty much mostly on her work. I've seen a few of her
characters and gotten that vibe. Yes, partly because they were
strong women engaged in "stereotypically-male" roles. Just the way
that she portrayed them seemed... different. Again, these are just
vibes... I just really can't give any quantifiable reasoning on my
opinions... they're all just something that made me feel like they
might fit here.
Katee is actually probably the most skewed of those I listed...
because it was more based on her character portrayals than outside
of acting.

After watching the latest Agents of SHIELD, I can safely say that
some writers or producers definitely had these kinks lol. The Izen
body-hopping scenes are absolutely not important to the plot but
they shot it anyway IMO.
Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I just remembered it out of
the blue, and i figured why not xD
