An American Werewolf in London|
Basically two male friends are in London for some kind of vacation, when a werewolf attacks them, killing one and injuring the other. The one that lived spent the rest of his time seeing visions of his dead friend. The movie has a lousy plot but it does have a great transformation scene.

I really wish somebody would get the final transformation clip and
link it here.|

Julie Delphy plays the female werewolf. She lures the guy she will
intend to bite into her home to "help" him cure his lycanthopy
later...and we see her dead mother. There are other "dead" people
the new male Lycanthrope sees (including the best friend that was
killed, and a young woman he meets at a bar). The young man also
has predatory instincts of a wolf as he hunts for meat (rare), and
finds an attractive girl at a bar. He kills her after turning into
a werewolf when there is a full moon. Julie Delphy has a good
transformation scene in the night club where she warns her new love
interest about the other werewolves.|

I think you're thinking of American Werewolf in PARIS. I was
excited for this sequel until I saw the crappy CGI transformation
replaced the ultra cool Rick Baker effects in the original. Has a
transformation in a (studio) film even come close to toping the
original American Werewolf?|

Its probably also worth noting that this film inspired Micheal
Jackson's Thriller video.|

Ah yes, Thriller my favourite music video of all time (my other
favourite tf music video is Meatloaf's I'd Do Anything For Love)|

If I'm not mistaken, AWiL and Thriller were both directed by John
Landis. I don't know if Rick Baker was involved in Thriller as
well, but it'd make sense.|

Rick Baker is my favourite make up artist of all time. Yeah, the
growl MJ makes when transformation into a wolf/cat in the Thriller
music video is the growl of the wolf from American Werewolf.|
