Yes, I never understood why he wore heels as Lola either. Post #18- It was a two sided curse. Pepa had to find love and so did Lalo. If Lalo and Pepa married, they would stay in each other's bodies as they were not in love. Eventually Pepa and Justin fell in love, but it was not enough until Grace eventually fell for Lalo and the spell was broken for both.

Wow, I guess I'm an idiot. I never knew that about the curse. I also think it's funny how Lalo complained 24/7 if he was in a dress or skirt but had no problems with heels. There was that one time in which he tried to seduce Simon(Grace's boyfriend) and seemed okay wearing a tight knee length black dress. Weird that he would basically act like a piece of meat since he always hated men flirting with him and hitting on him when he was female.

Only seen parts of the show recently but the gist of what I worked out was that when Margot initially turned up at work, she said she was Gorsha's cousin. This got complicated when her parents visited and obviously expected to see Gorsha, so she had to get her former male body with the new occupant pretend to be her (follow me so far?). Obviously her parents would know she wasn't Gorsha's cousin, so she told them about the remarkable co-incidence that they had the same surname when they met (at that point, her parents think they're engaged but in fact she's still in a relationship with Andrei [Facundo equivalent - he's not happy with the whole situation but goes along with it.

Anyway, her parents leave and the charade is over and Gorsha leaves but for some reason a few episodes later, Margot gets him a job at her own company with him pretending to be herself. She teaches him how to do the job. At some point I guess Andrei has enough and leaves (and in no longer on the show or the opening credits). Somewhere along the line, Margot's parents return and find her passport which has a different last name to what she told them (something like Alexandra, not Regrova, her original body's name was Igor Regrov) and that causes some kind of drama but it all gets sorted out somehow and they end up getting married at the end of the third season and the show ends. Presumably at some point she told her workplace they weren't really cousins but she said that at the time to convince them to let her do the presentation in the first episode as she was a complete stranger to them or something like that.

The law in Chile presently (and since 1989) is that abortion is illegal with absolutely no exceptions of any kind.

I was looking through my Margosha videos today, and thought I would look up some of the threads associated with it. Missed your question from two years ago.

Margosha has 3 seasons made up of 60, 90, and 90 episodes each.

Gosha had two sets of lies going.... 1) That in the woman's body he was Gosha's female cousin, and 2) When Gosha's real parents show up, Gosha claims to be his own fiance. Then, the new Margo finds her Gosha body inhabited by the female soul. Gosha body is discovered visiting the apartment and has to return to work. The parents insist on him getting married or his inheritance is gone.

So it all unravels.

The lies break up Margosha and Andrei, even though she has fallen madly in love with Andrei. It is quite a twist, unique to this Lalola telling I think.

For those of you with access to season one... Episode 29 I somehow missed. The new Margo loses a bet with office rival Anton and has to do an impromptu photo shoot in her apartment. She even takes off her shirt (not her bra) and poses in her bed.

Lots to love in Margosha.

I don't know why this Russian version of Lalola has to paired her up with another guy (the woman who inhabited her original, not less!). I always like the dynamic between Lola & Facundo & I am sad & mad because the writers in the Russian version teared them apart!

Once the "Lalola" started dating the "Facundo" she was pretty much in full female mode in most versions. In Lalola Philippines in was Episode 9. Major identity death.

In Russian Margosha, at the end of season 2 (Episode #150), she was on her way to her engagement party in a ball gown when she ran into her former body and chickened out doubting herself thinking there might still be a way back.

It set a tragedy in motion as she her love through season 3 and resisted the affections of the person in her former male body. Even though it did a short wrap up in episode 90 seeming happy, she rejected any other male besides Andrei until the end.

That is really unnecessary diversion from the original. Some versions are different too, but we know it's different from the beginning. This one teased us & make us believe it will more or less faithful adaptation but then threw a surprise bomb! It is really cruel. I know it was primarily made for Russian audience who never watch other Lalolas, but for people like us who watched different versions of Lalolas, we were duped to believe it would be the same sweet ending but we ended up disappointed. booo.

Near the end of season 2 they were all set for the wedding, That would have been episode 150. Guessing it was popular enough they renewed it and they needed a storyline for 90 more episodes. What was disappointing for me was the new Margot never got affectionate to the new Gosha, seemed to still love Andrei, but married new Gosha anyway. Margot and Gosha didn't do anything romantically until episode 90. Guessing again, but maybe they intended another season. New Margot never got involved romantically with anyone but Andrei in any episode of 240 episodes.

There's like 14 different versions of this show. Nice to see something a bit different for one of them. Also, it's a fine Russian tradition with everything from Married With Children to this where after they exhaust the source material, they just keep on going.

Here is a moment from Margosha I never saw or forgot about:

Season 01 Episode 29--Margot loses a bet to male office rival and has to do an impromptu photoshoot in her apartment. She even takes her shirt off. She looks annoyed, but pissed off sexy. She flips her hair and poses real sexy. It is brief but really good.

The original Lalola also does this in Episode 29. She is wearing a better costume, but really comes across as goofy, imho, and it it isn't anywhere near as sexy.

I checked Bhaskar Bharti, and Lalola Peru and could not find a similar scene in any episode near 29. Anyone know of any versions that have this scene?

I'm not sure of the episode number but I think the Peru Lalola does a scene like that. I think the Lola in that one has to wear a short school girl skirt for a photoshoot for the Gaston character and the Lola in that one does not like it lol.

Not exactly. Some are similar but a number of them end up being radically different. They mostly start out quite similar to the original premise but notable standouts that veer off in quite different directions include Portugal, Chile, Russia, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.
