Are there any gradually body swap/mind transfer?Or suddenly swap in
a falsh for a while sometime ,just like Eric's "The fall" in

Reflecting waters. Thanks for remembering my story "The Fall" One
like this only better is Pendants of Aeternitas

Jaana's Becoming my Girlfriend was excellent. You really get to
feel everything the character does as he desperately tries to
figure out why it is happening as he tries to fight the changes.
Morpheus has Thirteen Names
which is pretty good from the swap point of view.
The Lust Charm
is also pretty good.

I just want to second all of these recommendations. They're all
some of my favorite stories on Fictionmania. I'm about to reread
"The Fall" based on the recommendations from this thread. I will
add that I don't care for "Pendants of Aeternitas;" it's a little
too creepy for me.

It is SUPER CREEPY terrific horror story, The fall is a horror
storu as well. You may not like it

there's another like "Becoming my girlfriend".
please forgive me for not posting the story name or author as i
haven't read it in a few years but i'll give as best a description
as i can. but warning, there's unavoidable spoilers in the
description.
a boyfriend and girlfriend go on vacation and the boyfriend somehow
gets a bottle of pills. each pill changes one part of his body. as
it turns out, the pills were made by his ex and if he wants to
return to normal then he had to pick the right pill from the
bottle. throughout his changes his girlfriend gets "excited" and
they have sex after each change. eventually he figures out he's
changing into his ex and a shocking twist is revealed at the end.
also when he's completely his ex she tells him she'll turn him back
after he gets a two headed dragon tattoo on his chest which he does
get but is of course double-crossed

There is another excellent story by Sifo Dyas, Jr. It's called
Cards, and to my knowledge, it isn't posted in its entirety
anywhere. Sifo has some of the most original transformations out
there. His writing is minimalistic, but his words say so much. His
dialogue is freshly written with one and two word sentences reveal
volumes about the characters.
Also, the character never loses his free will and self-identity.
There is plenty of tension and conflict that keeps you reading.
I don't think the story is posted in its complete form any more,
but hopefully he will add the story to his Wordpress page.
My only complaint about the story is that the the ending is
premature. The author goes minute by minute for 9/10 of the story,
then just skips ahead several months to the end. We see nothing
about how the character deals with the changes once they are locked
into place. If it had a few more chapters towards the end allowing
for a climax, it would be flawless. Among the body parts swapped
are physical brains with a girl, which ends up making him boy
crazy. But again, we just skip a huge chunk of time and don't see
how he deals with it.
That was a story structure constructive criticism, but I also have
a couple things I would have liked to have seen in that missing
chunk of time. It would have been fun to see the character go
through one more swap, possibly hair. Or, if the antagonist took
him shopping and to a salon (she doesn't want her part swapped
back), would reality have made him more of a girly girl? It would
have given him one more obstacle to overcome in the unwritten
pages. There are definitely some missed opportunities.
But overall, if you want to read a very well written story with
original fresh dialogue and original imaginative transformations,
Sifo's work is for you. He has a way of making the characters come
to life so you feel that you know them.

While it isn't a part swap, his partly posted "Perfection" story
has the same type of promise as Cards.

The one that blahs mentions is one of my favorites by Darkside is
the Fury Saga...it is on FictionMania and I have re-read it a
million times. :)
