Has anyone heard about the season premiere of Fringe - apparently there's a shapeshifting alien in it?

1 m2m(on screen) and 1 m2f(off screen) transformation, with help of a device connecting between victim's mouth and the "soldier's".

From: The Gambler , 148 months, post #6
And also a f2m offscreen transformation in the end.

I never really got into Fringe last season because I kept missing episodes and not catching up. But I hae to admit the premiere was good. And the FBI bursting through the window of her car AFTER the accident was over was pretty cool.

Still can't figure out why the cow was in the lab though. LOL! :)

Are you talking about the agent that the nurse/alien soldier changed into at the end? Didn't he burn his original body at the very end of the episode? Because that pretty much means no coming back.

Unless he comes from the "other" universe, Dee. We actually saw Charlie there when Olivia visited.

From: Sara , 148 months, post #15
Yeah, that Charlie had a scar, didn't he? As for the device, well it came from the other universe, and the Bishops gave it to the military to develop it, so maybe there will be another one sometime.

I'm almost brand new to Fringe. I caught the first few episodes the first season and then lost touch with it. So I never saw any of what you're talking about.

She talked to Mr. Spock in the World Trade Center.

From: Sara , 148 months, post #18
Mr. Spock as in Leonard Nimoy who plays the mysterious Dr. William Bell, who is the head of Massive Dynamic, but has been out of town on business throughout all of season 1, until Olivia Dunham meets him in the parallel universe's World Trade Center, which has not been destroyed. From everything I have read, this mirror universe will be explored a lot more this season.

in the coming attracions of the next episodes, the solider who now looks like the cop gets captured by the team... so that kind of was a very week element. I just hope J.J Abrahms has the sense to add more of these soliders
