Hydee Hytop is showing off all of the new Hytops, when a boy sticks out his tounge at her. She tells him that he does not get it, because it is a girl thing, and turns him into a frog.

How does this solve the problem at hand. If he doesn't get it because it's a girl thing, wouldn't it make more sense to turn him into a girl?

I know, I agree, it was such a wasted potential for a great boy to girl transformation, like if he put on the shoes he turned into a girl. Maybe the company was afraid of lawsuits they would have recieved from false advertisement? I could imagine a lot of men would run out and buy these shoes if they thought it could turn them into women, and then when it failed, class action lawsuit time.

Or at least protests from would-be MtF TS people that the ad campaign makes fun of or at least trivializes their plight, or from feminist groups that it shows being a female is punishment (though they could counter-argue that the girl just made a girl of him so he/she WOULD be able to understand the appeal of the shoes, and did him/her a favor).

I do think that they feared opening up SOME sort of can of worms with a sex-change ad. With the boy-into-frog the only risk is a few people with odd interpretations of the Bible who might complain about the promotion of witchcraft.
