do a spell to giver Katherine complete control
Episode 13 - "Total Eclipse of the Heart"

Katherine pretends to be Elena the entire episode
Episode 14 - "No Exit"

Katherine tries to seduce Stefan as Elena.
Episode 15 - "Gone Girl"
=
The scooby gang figures out it's not Elena and is able to remove
Katherine from her body and reinstate Elena.
