Description
A mysterious blue light (given the name "The Blue Flash") instantly
reduces every human being on Earth - and ONLY human beings - to
one-twelfth
of its original size, so a six foot tall person is now a six INCH
tall person. In a (literal) flash, Nature turns the tables on
Mankind: Machines and dwellings made for Man's use are now too big
to be used, devices to keep nature at bay are either useless or
keep humans at bay now. And Man is no longer the dominant creature
on the planet; even creatures still smaller than humans, such as
ants, are more deadly than they were before. Among those who
survive the Blue Flash, two brave teenagers, eighteen-year-old
Mouse and his sister Beat, emerge as leaders. This graphic novel
has been out for almost two years, and reportedly there are plans
for a motion picture based on it.
