Thundarr the Barbarian episode "Mindok the Mind-Master"
Categories:Mechanical, Television Episode

Description

Mindok the Mind-Master was once a human, but when a flaming meteorite swept between the Earth and the Moon and cause the collapse of civilization, he was gravely injured and had to transplant his brain into a mobile floating casing. Two thousand years later, after he has mastered magic as well as telepathy, Mindok dispatches his men to Cape Canaveral to find his three colleagues who have put themselves in a deep freeze as part of a space travel experiment. Thundarr the Barbarian revives them, but Mindok comes on the scene and teleports them to his laboratory, where he has them build him a robotic body because his brain has outgrown its mobile floating casing. When the three scientists complete the robotic body, Mindok blows apart the casing around his brain, lifts himself free of his mobile floating casing, and places his brain inside the robotic body by means of levitation. Then he enters the warship he has built for himself and goes off to conquer the world. Mindok is ultimately cornered inside his ship, which is powered by his own brain, and defeated. Thundarr and his two friends - Princess Ariel and Ookla the Mok - send him off into space.
