Description
In th-is somewhat chaotic, if action-packed, sequel to the werewolf
classic THE HYDE EFFECT, the transformations come fast and furious,
since the shapeshifters can become anything they choose at any
time, as well being able to force involuntary transformations upon
their victims. Some of these transformations involve TG, though
they certainly aren't the focus of the work. Mayhaps the most
delicious is the tale of a Middle Ages woman condemned to the stake
for werewolfism who overcomes the Father Confessor sent to comfort
her at death, changes him into her duplicate, and watches as "she"
is burnt in her stead. As with all of Vance's novels, a lot of fun
to read. DSF
