Description
This may be the quintessential sci-fi/crime flick of all time. A
man comes to the Big City to rescue his sister, who has been
recruited into a life of prostitution by the evil local thugs.
Instead, he's framed for murder, tried, convicted, and executed,
all in about ten minutes (the law didn't fool around back then). A
slightly mad doctor uses his newly-dead brain in a transplant
experiment, and the poor sucker wakes up in the body of a gorilla.
Pissed beyond all restrain, man-gorilla breaks free and begins
killing all of the gangsters who set him up and "soiled" his
sister. (His loyal dog still recognizes him beneath the animal
body.) He's finally shot down, but not before he kicks some major
butt and accomplishes his mission. Pretty decent flick.
