Description
This book tells about a tribe, the "Cheysuli", who are able to
change into one special animal, called their "Lir" (mostly a wolf
or a falcon).
The normal people are frightened about the Cheysuli and want to
kill them.
Alix, the main charakter in the first book, didn`t know that she's
a Cheysuli, too, until she is kidnappned by one of them.
Alix learns how to do the shapeshifting and transforms herself into
a wolf. Alix is a special person in this story, because she's able
to have more than one Lir.
So she's able to transform into a falcon and to speak with other
Lirs later on in this story.
The description of the transformations are quite nice in this
story.
-- This book is the first one of nine. Ev'ry book contains more or
less transformations.
