Description
This is a well made movie and part of the Sundance Film Festival in
2000. The movie tells the story of a male monk whom an angel visits
and when he tells of the visit, his brothers feel he has gone
crazy. They seclude him in his room, called a cell in a monastery,
and he remains alone for 2 months. When he comes out, his hair is
much longer and his face has softened. He goes to see the monastery
doctor, played by Joe Spano of "Hill Street Blues" and reveals he
has become a pregnant female.
I won't spoil the movie. A woman, Martha Hacket, plays the TG
charater. Several recognizable faces appear in the film. There is
no sex but some brief nudity. It's a true "soul searcher" in more
ways than one. The best part is the movie is available on DVD from
Amazon.com for less than $20.00!
