Description
Yet another long-running webcomic, GPF (as in, "General Protection
Fault") features a burgeoning mad scientist named Nick and his
girlfriend, Ki.
The latest story arc involves the both of them plugging into a
revamped version of one of Nick's old inventions, a virtual-reality
machine called "the Mutex." Naturally, something goes haywire, and
they find themselves in an unexpected environment,
anthropomorphized into rodent and feline forms, respectively.
I'm fairly certain their situation goes beyond computer simulation.
A mysterious cosmic being gets panicky observing them activate the
machine, so I'm guessing they're actually in a parallel universe
somehow. We'll just have to wait and see.
