Description
In this one a man Jubei (the hero) kills at the beginning of the
episode turns out to be a creature that inhabits people's bodies,
referring to the body as a "bag" that contains him. In the course
of the episode the creature inhabits two women, a traveller and a
lady who has been searching for two years to find her husbands
killer with her son.
Originally she tries to help Jubei after he is poisoned by the
creature, but when she recognises Jubei's quick draw sword
technique as the same technique that killed her husband she tries
to kill him herself. Just before the creature takes over her she
asks Jubei to save her son, and before the creature attacks in her
body she exerts enough control to throw herself into the fire and
kill it. Yeah. Hugely depressing as far as stories go.
