Description
Series of commercials for a "payday loan" company (you write them a
check today and they give you money, then they hold the check for a
couple of weeks or until your next pay day.) Commercials dramatized
the pressures of Christmas shopping by showing a person shrunk to
about an inch in height trying to do traditional Christmas
activities. Specific examples: A man trying to decorate his
Christmas tree finds himself dangling from a snowflake ornament; a
man addressing Christmas cards has to write with a pen ten times
his size.
