Description
In a VERY Bizarre Japanese film a dollmaker kills his wife and
dumps her body into a strange pond, later he finds her body has
resurfaced and transformed into wax. He sculps her into a three
foot tall big eyed doll called a Marronnier. Later he creates a
machine that uses the pond water to turn other woman his twisted
assistant kills into Marronniers. The original doll winds up in the
hands of a young woman the assistant is stalking, it and the others
marroniers come to life and try to use the girl to get revenge.
Very strange, very violent. The DVD also features a weird short
called "Legend of the Marroniers" in which an "Ultraman-like" story
is acted out with the dolls from the film.
