Princess Pipp Petals works at Mane Melody, a salon where she offers her customers mane trims/cuts and facials while singing with her staff (kareoke) in Maretime Bay.
She treats her friends Sunny Starscout, Sheriff Hitch Trailblazer, her pet CloudPuff, and unicorn Izzy Moonbow her latest facial which she claims to make them younger. However, magical red glitter from Sunny's alicorn magic falls into her facial mixture, turning her friends into foals and her pet Cloudpuff into a puppy.
Zipp Storm helps her sister create an antidote while trying to entertain the new foal versions of her friends with a story, which puts the younger friends to sleep. Pipp then places the new facials on her friends and pet so they turn back to normal.
