Animal Transformation (Pig, chicken, octopus, and a hybrid of chicken and pig).
Main Antagonist Cyrus Strange secretly funds science fair where Wednesday Addams is demonstrating how to swap personality traits between Uncle Fester and her pet Octopus, Socrates. Uncle Fester slowly gains an affinity for water and his hands become tentacles throughout the film. He also secrets ink, which he claims when he has the constant need to find a restroom throughout the road trip. He eventually becomes a giant octopus similar to Socrates.
The main plot is the Addams Family are on a three week family vacation/road trip, but are being followed by Cyrus Strange's henchmen Mr. Mustar and his muscle bodyguard Pongo. Cyrus Strange wants Wednesday Addams to perfect his scientific research based on her science fair project, and hired Mustar and Pongo to find Wednesday. They come up with a scheme involving a switched at birth at the hospital to kidnap Wednesday.
Pugsley encounters Ophelia, Cyrus' daughter, who starts to develop pig-like behavior and turns into a pig/human hybrid while exploring Mr. Strange's mansion. Mr. Strange's wife has developed a chicken-like appearance. Pugsley brings the two animal/humans to his family to expose the evil scientist who is claiming Wednesday is his daughter.
In the final scene, Mr. Strange reveals his plan to use Wednesday's research to perfect his device on the Addams Family and Thing. Fester saves the day as a giant octopus and fights Strange, who has been mutated into a chicken/pig chimera after Lurch and Pongo team up and toss him into his machine. Morticia offers Wednesday a special vial that contains the combined DNA of the male Addams family members, including Fester's. Wednesday saves her uncle Fester by injecting him with the Addams Family DNA, returning him back to himself. It is implied Fester ate Strange during his battle.
Ophelia and her mother are changed back to normal and are invited to come to the Addams family mansion where Grandma Addams and Cousin Itt are hosting a party.
