DC's Stargirl (Only on the CW Network, 8 Pm Tuesday evenings).
Transformations: Inanimate (Eclipso turning into burnt toast after Jakeem Williams wishes Thunderbolt turn Eclipso into toast).
Possession: Eclipso possesses or uses illusions to appear as 10 year old Bruce Gordon, 10 year old Rebecca McNider (as a corpse). Possessed Cindy Burman, Bobbie Burman, Artemis Crock, Paul Deisenger (art and history teacher at Blue Valley for summer school). Also possessed Yolanda's co-worker Mary by making her dump scalding coffee on the male customer who often complained about the service or the food not to his liking. Mary was sent home by her supervisor after the incident.
The Illusions Eclipso uses are fear and darkness based, which affected Yolanda Montez and Rick Tyler. He tried to manipulate Beth Chapel with illusions of her parents blaming her for a possible divorce, but Beth saw through Eclipso's illusions because she was wearing Dr. McNider's goggles. He forced Courtney to give into her hatred of Eclipso to gain access to her.
Season 2 of the series stars Brec Bassinger as Courtney Whitmore, aka Stargirl, a superheroine who leads the new generation of heroes in the Justice Society of America in Blue Valley, Nebraska. She and her family and friends defeated the Injustice Society in Season 1 after Jordan Makhent is crushed by Mike Dugan driving a truck at him to protect Yolanda and Courtney.
Season 2's story arc involved the main antagonist Eclipso, who appears to be able to possess bodies of either gender. He often appears as a 10 year old boy named Bruce Gordon, his 1st host to cause trouble and kill anyone, like Dr. Mid-Nite/Charles McNider's daughter, Rebecca. He uses the Bruce Gordon alias as a child and as the adult Bruce Gordon to trap Pat Dugan into a guilt trip over killing him to seal Eclipso into the Black Diamond. This decision by the Golden Age JSA led to their downfall when the ISA led them into a trap 10 years before Courtney and her family moved to Blue Valley.
Eclipso manipulated Cindy Burman, aka Shiv and possessed her and her step-mother, Bobbie Burman early in the season. Cindy then uses the Black Diamond to manipulate Artemis Crock into joining her new team, Injustice Unlimited. She also manipulated Isaac Bowin to join, as he was dealing with his mother, Principal Anaya Bowin's death. He became the new Fiddler, and was given his father's enchanted violin, the same his mother wielded in Season 1.
Eclipso manipulated many other characters, appearing as 10 year old Bruce Gordon or as the body of the deceased Rebecca McNider to make Rick Tyler believe Solomon Grundy killed a girl and to cause Rick to beat up his Uncle Mark thinking he was Grundy.
Eclipso revealed his Endgame in Season 2, episode 13. He wanted all the heroes assembled at the American Dream building to witness him possessing Courtney to gain access to her Cosmic Staff and open the Shadowlands to Earth, thus becoming a god of the merged world. He manipulated the heroes into fighting illusions of their pasts. Yolanda/Wildcat fought the original Wildcat, Ted Grant. Cindy fought her younger self, and Pat fought his Stripesy persona. Dr. McNider was able to help each hero clear their minds and remember that what they saw was not real.
Eclipso fought Mike Dugan in the STRIPE armor and Solomon Grundy. He was eventually defeated by all the JSA and some help from Artemis Crock and her parents (Sportsmaster and Tigress), Jennie-Lynn Hayden aka Jade, Richard Swift, aka The Shade, and Thunderbolt (who turned him into toast) by a wish by Jakeem Williams, the new wielder of the Thunderbolt pen.
