DC's Stargirl (TV Series, Tuesday nights at 8 pm EST on The CW Network).

Courtney Whitmore (aka Stargirl) and her fellow JSA teammates formed their supergroup to stop Jordan Mahkent/Icicle and his Injustice Society members from enacting Project: New America in Blue Valley, Nebraska Season 1.

Season 2 brings a new threat in Eclipso to Blue Valley, as well as Richard Swift aka The Shade. The theme in Season 2 is Summer School, as our heroes must go to Summer School to make up for poor grades due to their super hero activities.

Eclipso is usually contained in a Black Diamond Cindy discovered at the end of Season 1 while tearing apart the late William Zarick aka The Wizard's collection of magical items. She uses this diamond to control her ex-step-mother, Bobbie Burman, who was a victim of Dragon King's experiments to give Cindy a mother figure. Cindy later regrets using this new weapon, as Eclipso revealed he was manipulating her all the time and ends up killing Isaac Bowin aka The Fiddler and banishing Cindy to the Shadowlands.

Eclipso often appears as 10 year old Bruce Gordon, a later adventurer from Diablo Island in his adult years. As 10 year old Bruce Gordon, Eclipso has killed Dr. Charles McNider's daughter, Rebecca by manipulating her into disobeying her mother and stealing a present from the neighbor girl on her birthday, then accused Rebecca of being disobedient and a thief. The Golden Age JSA attended Rebecca's funeral and discovered Eclipso was behind the death of the girl.

Eclipso continues in Season 2 to use the little Bruce Gordon alias to cause trouble in Blue Valley, Nebraska. He manipulated Yolanda Montez aka Wildcat II to quit the JSA, then got Rick Tyler/Hourman in jail for beating up his uncle Matt while making the illusion that Solomon Grundy killed a little girl. He has possessed Cindy Burman, Bobbie Burman, Artemis Crock (Sportsmaster and Tigress' daughter), and has threatened to possess Stargirl in the last episode. He even possessed the body of Yolanda's co-worker at the local diner, Richie's, and forced her to dump a pot of scalding hot coffee on one of the locals who always complained about the food or service. Eclipso has tried to use his mind games on Beth Chapel (the new Dr. Mid-Nite), but she outsmarted him thanks to her mentor, the Golden Age Dr. Mid-Nite, Dr. Charles McNider.

Dr. Shiro Ito (aka Dragon King) is one of the principal antagonists from season 1 and father of Cindy Burman aka Shiv. Dr. Ito usually has a hood covering his face because he is not human due to his experiments on himself. Dr. Ito rarely comes to the ISA meetings, but he did attend the important ones concerning Project New America and the need for Brainwave to use the stolen technology from Empire Enterprises to control the minds of the adults in the affected area.

It was revealed that he is more reptile than human when Stargirl blasted him with her cosmic staff to get it back from the ISA when Brainwave and Icicle captured it.

Jordan Mahkent aka Icicle used Cyrokinesis as his power, inherited from his parents Sofus and Lilly Mahkent. His son, Cameron, has Cyrokinesis as well.

Jennie-Lynn hayden aka jade is the daughter of Green Lantern Alan Scott and Rose Canton. She has a twin brother Todd/Obsidian. She becomes the new Green Lantern for Season 2 and absorbed the Green Lantern battery used to charge up her ring.

Richard Swift aka The Shade is a seemingly neutral character who used to be with the Injustice Society of America, and disapproved of Jordan's plans for Blue Valley under the American Dream Foundation he started as CEO and his associates William Zarick and Steven Sharpe (aka The Gambler).

Swift aka The Shade's power is shadow manipulation and control. He is linked to the Shadowlands and has sent Dr. Charles McNider to there to protect him from the ISA.
