==Description==
On a distant jungle planet, the Micronauts discover a red-furred cat-man called the Devil and his fairylike companion Fireflyte, a beautiful golden fairy, who promptly join the Micronauts. Fireflyte sacrifices herself to save the Micronauts' galaxy and as a result the Devil grows more and more feral, his rage only subsiding when he hears Fireflyte's recorded song. While fighting alongside the Micronauts, he is burned when he falls into an energy pool and then subsequently drained of his life energy by Micronaut colonists who have evolved into energy-draining vampires. His life cycle accelerated by both incidents, he goes up in smoke and a second Fireflyte emerges from his charred remains.
