==Description==
The MICRONAUTS find a red cat creature called a Devil, who has a companion called Flutterby, a small feylike creature with a beautiful sonf. She later sacrifices herself to allow the Commander to tap into the forces holding the Microverse together using a special sword. As a result, the Devil becomes progressively more savage and bestial, calmed only by Flutterby's recorded song. Burned when he falls into the Prometheus Pool, and then drained of energy by the Soul Survivors, the Devil's natural life cycle is accelerated and his body bursts into flame on the Bioship before the Commander's eyes - only to emerge from the ashes as another Flutterby.
