ANIMAL: Towards the beginnging of the movie Sun Wukong (Monkey King) takes on the form a tiger and a rhino while fighting on of his fellow students. And during the final battle the Monkey King transforms into a giant monkey.
GENDER: During the same fight with the student he takes on the form of a female student. Then later in the movie one of the Jade Emperor's generals takes on the form of a beautiful woman to trick the Monkey King.
MALE: About half way into the movie the Monkey King takes on the form of the Jade Emperor to trick one the Emperor's general.
A lot of these transformations happen off screen and the one's that do are just big poofs of smoke.
