Miller Lite Ad : Ultimate Server
Female, Gender
New commercial for Miller Lite in their Beer Heaven series titled Ultimate Server. The server at this bar changes to match what the customer wants, from a woman to twins, to a different woman, to a man, then back to the original woman. Transformations are done via spin cuts

There is a new Miller Lite commercial that I saw for the first time during the Final 4 games on Saturday. The waitress at a bar splits into two people when a customer orders two beers. She changes from a long haired brunette into a short haired blonde to wait on another customer, then from the blonde into a guy to wait on a table full of women, then back into the brunette.
Haven't seen it anywhere else, or on the web.

Their website seems to not like direct links because they have to check whether people are 21 before letting them in. But go to www.millerlite.com enter your date of birth (or lie, they really have no way of verifying it; it's just to cover their own asses about showing alcohol ads to minors) click on Commercials then select Ultimate Server from the list.

I think it's a pretty lame ad, but purely as a vehicle for TG it's alright I suppose. (Although the transformations are executed in what I feel is a pretty lazy fashion.)

Ummm... so now you have to be 21 to look at a beer web site?

Well, if they showed a full-on sequence, that would kind of freak people out. And freaked-out people don't buy beer. I think the commercial works for what it's saying-that the waiters/waitresses are whoever you want them to be.

Looks like the video is located at http://www.millerlite.com/video/bin_2/UltimateServer.flv

freaked out people would remember the ad more, and be more likely to buy more of that beer, over some random home-brew ;)

alternatively, you could ask them to spend an extra few hundred of their millions of ad funding to make a proper transformation one like what they did ages ago with the "stylin' " commercial :P

The Sultan: I don't think so. I mean, if they really pandered to our sort and zoomed in as her body changed and stuff it might put some people off, but just some sort of smoothness to the morph instead of just doing fast cuts would be nice, even if it was something laughably easy like having her body flash when she changed. Plus, I think it would be better purely on a cinematographic level since there's something disorienting about using cuts to transform people.

I'm not saying, I'm just saying. As much as we here all love tg, much of the rest of the world thinks it's nasty, kind of like that one Snickers commercial where the two guys kissed. I didn't have a problem with it, but enough people did for Snickers to pull it. In pure art terms, however, you're right. It was disorienting.

It is on Youtube.

So this commercial tells me that if I drink beer, then I can't tell man from woman when I look at a beer server?

I'm curious of what kind of air hockey table that is.

Does anyone recall a Miller Lite commercial where it's the guy's point of view and a pretty attractive woman (I guess the girlfriend) rambling on about what went on in her day. The guy tries to look over at the basketball on TV behind her and the girl asks "Are you listening to me or the game?" When he hits the beer on the counter, the girl seems possessed and now has the announcer's male voice and plugs Miller Lite and describes the game. Can anyone find this ad online or on Youtube? I think this was back in the mid-90's when they did those 'merger' Miller commercials like Weiner dog racing and Ice Hockey Beauty pageants... Thanks...

Yeah, can anyone find that clip f the commercial and the girl asking "Are you listening to me or the game?"

All I get is the following description:

a guy and his girlfriend are sitting in a bar, and a basketball game is on the TV screen just above the girlfriends head. The camera, showing his viewpoint, focuses initially on the girlfriend. But inevitably, our vision switches to the basketball game. She waves us down. Are you listening to me or watching the game? We try to refocus on her, but finally, it becomes too much. We grab our bottle of Miller Lite and thump it on the table. Instantly she begins lip synching the play-by-play with the male announcer voice, allowing us to listen to her without missing the game. The moral: Life is GoodLite. Get it? No longer must you choose between courtesy to your girlfriend and a ball game, between great taste and less filling. With the Lite lifestyle, theres no need for tough choices.
