It's just that, the pages are now reaching 100 pages, and we have
other threads now like indian tf 3, and the female to female
transformation 2 threads, so why are some threads still 70 pages
long

This site is a relic with a skeleton crew behind it. Asking for any
kind of changes is like screaming into a void. Just gotta take it
for what it is

While true, guest (oldie) the mods have shown in the past to be
able to delete threads or lock them.
I think it's reasonable to have them actually step in and lock
threads with over 1,000 posts and force the posters to start a new
one to stop wrap-breaking the board.

As a mod on this website, I want users to know that we do indeed
see your posts. However, do not expect things to change purely
based on your own personal preferences. Having an opinion is fine.
Expecting things to change because you personally have a problem
with something is not reasonable.
While it is indeed true that this site has operated in relatively
the same fashion for what I believe is now decades (god damn, I'm
old!), I think the old adage applies that, "if it ain't broke,
don't fix it". I don't think anything is particularly broken at
this moment. So while we of course encourage and thank you for your
comments and feedback...do not expect a site overhaul because you
personally don't care for how something operates. Nothing is
perfect, and you can't please everybody. We can only do the best we
can with what we have.

Hey as the original poster of this thread, I don't expect an
overhaul of the site! But as someone whos been on this site since
he was 13 and now approaching my 30s, I can say I've seen my fair
share of business here!
We used to lock threads and start a new one after 40 pages, all I'm
saying is we already have a 2nd female 2 female possession thread
here:

We also have an indian tf(3) thread as well, why not lock up the
old ones so people migrate to the new ones?

IMHO the layout wrapping is pretty broken and it does need to be
fixed.
What exactly about "threads over X pages long" is such a big site
overhaul anyways?

Guest#5, iirc based off CJs explanations, any changes like that
will either be a huge patch that can break other parts of the code,
or a complete rewriting of the source code in a new language. Most
of what Paul did, he did by hand, in a time where there wasn't the
tools available today.
As hskfmn says... if it's not broken, better leave as it is. One
thing is for sure... one day we're gonna have to move... either
we're left without admin, or he forgets to keep the DNS bill on
automatic, or whatever. We had lots of spaces in the past, many of
them lost for good... but metamorphose.org are still alive. So,
let's see the positive side on it and enjoy it ❤️

I fine freedom in this website, as long as you avoid the trolls.
Everything else on this damn internet is moderated to the 100%
Completely ignore the trolls like they don't exsist and this
website is good.

@post #7, i think theres some confusion on what I'm asking. I'm not
asking for an automatic system that locks threads, that'd be great,
but I get it, pauls done alot of work on the site to get it where
its at.
My request is more towards the mods, where if you see a board thats
reached 100 pages, why not lock that board manually, and link to
the new one. Especially in the cases where we do have new threads,
CJ used to do it

@OP, gotcha... well, I agree with you. Though, otoh, we don't have
lots of mods currently and the last round of new mods came when
Pluto still was a planet. So I don't have hopes that they will do
that. We can keep asking, though... afaik, that's not forbidden 🙊🙈.
@BigMike without shading other mods that also contribute a lot to
the community without being paid, CJ indeed is missed by many.
