CJ, so if you had a tech job in your female alternate reality, why
would you give it up? Wouldn't you want to be an independent career
woman? Dress pants or dress skirts to this tech job as a female?
And no to thongs? What if your man or husband got you some kinky
lingerie and wanted you to wear them for him?
I would do kinky things like maybe put on a teddy, garter belts,
thigh high stockings, and heels and then have a little trench coat
on to cover it all up.
I think it would be interesting to see how others treated me as a
woman. Would it be very different or close to the same way I'm
treated as a guy? I'm guessing male coworkers would act differently
especially if I turned out to be a gorgeous woman.

"... I got distracted watching Bud cross the parking lot."
LOL
"I don't really want to not be me, but it would be a learning
experience to be someone else or a different version of me."
Indeed.
vup -- nice story about the SUV thing. We can relate here in the
midwest too, just not necessarily to the extent of those in WY, MT,
ID, etc.
"... why would you give it up?"
Priorities. If the job was less important to me than helping my
husband, or raising a / my family, then it might get the axe. Not
to mention things like Gamergate. I may not be getting a fair shake
in the tech world, and it may not be worth the fight to me to get
them to play fair.
As to the clothing choices. Practicality and comfort. If they
aren't practical, or hinder my performance or safety (at whatever
task), then I doubt I'd wear them for that event or occasion. Also,
if I'm not comfortable in them, I'm not going to want to wear
them... especially for an extended period of time, such as a 10 or
12 or 18 hour work day. That said, I always want to look good, so
again, priorities. I'd have to weigh the pros and cons of the
clothing choices and the events of the day.
As to the thongs... I still don't know what I'd think of them, but
I can tell you that being in a healthy, committed relationship
sometimes requires a bit of personal sacrifice or discomfort at
times. You never want to have to cave on major, core things... but
being a little uncomfortable wearing a thong for 10-30 minutes
every few weeks (or months) isn't really that big of a deal.
The changes in interpersonal interactions would certainly be
interesting to experience. Just hope that they're not too different
or hard to swallow.

Wearing butt-floss sounds uncomfortable to me and probably to most
but I've actually heard a couple
of girls say thongs are comfortable. I'm guessing it's because the
material is sometimes quite stretchy and so it doesn't feel like
it's riding up on you as I would have imagined, and also, some girl
butts have space between their cheeks so it isn't "wedged" in
there.
Just my guess as a scientist. Yeah, um, that's it. A scientist.
