There was a short film along the lines of Being John Malkovich where a boss jumps into the body of his secretary or assistant. In the end he tries to control her but she fights back. Does anyone remember the name of that video or where to find it? Thanks.

Do you have it on videotape or DVD? If you do not own the videotape or DVD, then I'm sorry, but we cannot help you break copyright law. Also, if the source is DVD, you may still run against the DMCA - the risk is yours. You can always certainly try a Google or Bing search for information about how to rip or transfer / transcode the video to another format too. Anyhow, in order to help you "rip" the video, we need to know in which format you currently have the video.

If you're asking someone to break the law for you - please try a different forum. If you don't understand why, please read this site's FAQ page.

I think he was asking for someone to help him rip the video clip off of the spike website. He wouldn't be complaining about not being able to watch the clip, if he owned the video already.

Not sure about the rules on the forum, since it is like downloading a YouTube video that's already available to the public for free.

That's what I was thinking too, which is why I asked. :-)

We have, in the past, allowed suggestions, such as the name of a particular app or website that might be able to help, but it's at the discretion of moderators of whether that is too helpful or just vague enough to still honor the spirit of the site.

Honestly though, I'd suggest something like a post that says: Search the web for "capturing streaming video" It's something anyone could do, that most people would probably figure out to ask / search for, yet still somewhat helpful as an answer without breaking the rules. Really it's more of a redirect than an assist.
