Since the TF thing seems to be a recurring theme in this series of
advertisements - should we have just one entry for the Snickers
"You aren't yourself" series of ads... or one for each ad /
commercial?
I know it'll be easier on the Trusted Users to just deal with one,
instead of a dozen.
But we're a community here - what does everyone think?

I hope that you are not offended by the suggestions sir or madam.

I say one entry should suffice.

One entry for Snickers sounds a lot easier.

right so I'm guessing that those suggestion will be deleted or put
in one Snickers article?

No offence taken, guest.
I can give you a few days or so to make another submission where
all the ads / commercials are listed in just one entry. That way
you get the credit for the submission. (Otherwise, we'll try to
tackle it when we catch up to it).
Then just stop back and let us know you've done that. After that
one of us will kill all the single entry submissions, leaving just
that one entry to be approved.
Thanks!
I'll leave this thread open for any additional thoughts over the
weekend.

I noticed your combined entry. Thank you.
I took a few minutes to "reject" all the solo entries. We can work
with your new submission - but it might take a bit for us to catch
up to it and get it approved.
Thanks again guest.

Looks like one of our Trusted Users rejected your series entry. I
can't blame them either.
After I rescued it, it took me about 20 minutes of editing. It
wasn't really close to the format that the other entries here have
- so I adjusted all that. I also added some bold to each commercial
noted, to separate them from their description.
Then I made sure that all the links fell under the Links section.
I'm only mentioning this as you can check the entry's history and
view the old (as submitted) and the new (edited for consistency
here) versions. That should be of help (if you need it) when you
submit in the future... for faster approval (and less chance of
rejection due to lots of editing needed). :-)
Thanks again, guest!

Did we lose the button which tells us which submissions are
pending? Can't find it or the list anywhere. Didn't know where else
to ask.

"Did we lose the button which tells us which submissions are
pending?"
Nope. Click on the What's New
link first, then the Unapproved
sub-link will be an option.

I did lose it... CJ, any news about ubuntu and the board conflict?

If we know of more snickers commercials how do we submit them?
|
From: Air Gear
, 95 months, post #15 |
Well, that's the thing. When I click on "What's New", I don't have
an "Unapproved" button anymore.

Thanks guest. I thought I corrected that, but looks like I missed
it. It's fixed now.
barackobrahma - no word yet, and my ubuntu machine hasn't returned
from loan yet - I'll see if I can get it back and check.
Pinky - if they fit that same series / theme, and are official
commereicals, go to the entry, click the Edit this Page
link from the left-hand menu and add the content - please try to
follow the same format as the existing listings. Thanks!
Air Gear - Browser and OS?

Cool. I added a few more.

From: cj

I saw that. I also adjusted the last link... got rid of the
"&list..." stuff that followed the video ID - it is
unnecessary, so I nixed it.
Thanks for the additional material Pinky. :-)

Sure. I've loved those Snickers commercials for years, I think I've
got a few korean ones on a playlist as well. I just have to find
them.

Three more commercials added to the Snickers entry. Its probably
the most successful TG theme in any commercial ever.
