Hey guys, I'm a bit new to the TF community but I love reading
about new TF / TG / body swap stories. I was wondering, what are
your personal favorite writers? Let's keep this civil though and
not argue about which writer is better, I find almost all TF
writers I've come across through this site to be fantastic.

I don't think I have a
favorite, and even the poor writers still have some amazing
stories.
I'm not going to name all the more prolific and popular writers,
others will name them... and you'll probably even see a few of them
comment here (though perhaps too modest to include their own name
in the list).
I will mention that a few of our video creators have written some
amazing TF stories that were then set to video, such as James and
MissMako. I mention them, as I feel their creativity deserves to be
mentioned here too.
Some of the authors who really got me interested in reading TG
fiction were (in no particular order): Bob Arnold, Julie O.,
Prudence Walker, Cleo Kraft, Jennifer Jane Pope, Genni Smith, Joan
Banks, O2bxx, Jennifer Adams, Pyrite, Raven, Caleb Jones, and
Eric... among many, many others.

And then I find this thread, and am sad that I forgot to name so
many others.

There are a ton of really good writers, who put out excellent
material for free. In stark contrast to the plethora of mediocre to
poor writers who charge people money for short, low quality kindle
books on Amazon. To answer the question, if I had to pick one I'd
say Seuzz. Book of Masks is my favorite TF related story and his
writing skills are incredible.

Huh, that's a tough one. It's tough because I have a bunch of
friends on both DA and FA who write quite a lot and they are all
really talented. I'm not gonna play favorites and say which ones
are better than the others, because I feel that would be
disrespectful. I look at writing the same way I look at art,
everything is of equal value as long as you can feel the intent,
love and passion that goes behind it.

Well, this guy for starters ^ For TG stuff, body thefts
specifically. Short and sweet.
Some of these authors might be the same, but I'll still include
them just in case. And I'll probably come back to this and think
shit I forgot to mention them.
Seuzz, rugal b., saracen1187 (keeps changing names but Triss
Merigold atm), rentam, imaj, sammig82, DocVS, Zapper, Brad Miller,
Wassel, TheControlFreak, Wordsmitty, TgAlli, Michelle, Lexy, Blot,
Atrium, JohnG, MysteryGirl (the unfulfilled premises!)
Though not necessarily primary sources, I've found most of the
works of these authors hosted on writing.com or fm.
Generally though, I have to agree with cj:
"I don't think I have a favorite, and even the poor writers still
have some amazing stories."

My absolute favourite is definitely Morpheus because of the quality
and the quantity of his works. There are others, who are very good
but if I have to chose I will go with Morpheus.

Another Morpheus fan here, more for (as Karakov) says the quantity
and overall quality of their work.

I would like to add Ellie Dauber to the list.

Morpheus is easily my absolute favorite. I wish more people would
riff on his Role Exchanger stories. Tseudo Nimm is another favorite
of mine. Would love to see more from that writer. There was another
writer who published a few stories on FictionMania around the same
time Tseudo Nimm started (late 2011) whom I really liked, but I
can't recall who it is.
