IIRC - The live action movie "Scooby Doo"
(2002) would fit with multiple of such possessions.
Also, Lost Girl
episode "Dead Lucky"
includes a scene with this.

There is a Korean movie called Miss Change that has a vacant female
body that can be possessed by others. Here is a Youtube link I
found; it comes in parts in this case but you can probably find the

These are nice finds everyone. I remember there was indian episode
where a woman's soul was placed in a doll and someone took over her
body. I think it was listed on this forum but I may be wrong. Its
ok if you guys can't find it

And Troll113's post reminds me of the "Child's Play"
movies where Chucky was trying to steal the young boy's body...
presumably bumping the kid out of his own body. It was never
accomplished successfully that I remember, but the setup / premise
was there.

IIRC, in "The Ferryman"
body swaps happen by one soul bumping another out its body. But I
only ever did see part of the movie, and that was some time ago...
so I might be wrong.
If that's something that still interests you, there may be quite a
few body swap titles that make the cut.

These are good but can you guys not stick with the body swaps. I
know it may seem similar to body swap but what I was looking for is
a another soul that possessed like a dead body or soulless shell.
Or like a soul pushed out another soul and it doesn't have a body
to go to. Like the Emmanuelle Through Time one that @wibblemars
listed.

(S01E08) called The Ectoplasmic Panhellenic Investigation that has

It's something like 12 (free) episodes but I personally thought it
was one of the best anime stories, if a bit challenging to follow
due to the complexity of the plot.
The story is literally about a guy who finds himself in the
position of being the only person who can save the world, but he
has to do it after finding his soul thrown out of his body by some
unknown enemy. He has to change events when he can't even touch
anything because he is just a disembodied soul.
