Alan Moore and Jacen Burrows comic PROVIDENCE #6 is an HP Lovecraft
Horror comic that deconstructs all of Lovecrafts concepts.
Essentially, a young man travels throughout New England in 1919 and
encounters all of Lovecrafts characters and creatures while
searching for a ancient forbidden book.
In issue #6, the protagonist Robert Black, a young journalist has
traveled to a college to search for the book. In issue #5 he
encounters a 13 year old girl Elspeth Wade who is intelligent and
wise beyond her years. It is heavily implied that she is not whom
she appears to be and fans of Lovecraft will recognize her as a
reference to Asenath Waite in The Thing on the Doorstep. In that
story the father of the girl switches souls with his daughter.
In issue 6 of Providence in a horrific turn of events Elspeth lures
Robert back to her home,Click to show spoiler

So, 13 year old girls being raped is considered entertainment now?
This is just sick.

SIGH. this is a database of transformations and I came across one
so I decided to share. I specifically said it was HORROR written by
a famous author based on the works of another famous author and
then I added SPOILER text because it's not pleasant. I'm not
condoning it but thanks for judging me

Didn't they do a movie called the Thing on the Doorstep (or
something like that) based on this. It sounds familiar. However, in
that movie, there is no rape scene. She switches with the guy
during sex. It's dark, just like this is described. There was also
another done in 2014. Just as dark. Don't know if the switch occurs
in that one as I haven't seen it. A preview is on Youtube.

That film is not based on the "Providence".
So it is different from this topic.
Or I miss something?

I hope there's more like providence which the spirit of the father
is inside the daughters body .
Or an Old man inside a young girl .

@trifajar
PROVIDENCE is a comic book series where a man travels across 1920s
New England and encounters paranormal events and characters
INSPIRED by HP Lovecrafts stories, characters and mythos.
In issue #5 and #6 he meets a girl INSPIRED by the girl in the
short story The Thing on the Doorstep. That short story deals with
a MtF bodyswapper. It has been adapted into a 2 movies. The movies
are tangentially related to PROVIDENCE.
It would be like posting about Ron Howards new whale movie and then
somebody saying it was based on a book called Moby Dick and then
somebody else posting links previous to Moby Dick movies.
