Dramafever is better than Hulu and Viki in my opinion. They will
even send you updates on when they get new episodes of the show and
other shows.
It looks like in the next episode he temporarily lets his female
body take over and lets Rain kiss him but then he starts hitting
him.

Episode was pretty funny. Rain and Oh Yeon Seo had a lot of time
together including a kiss. I thought it was hilarious how it made
you think that Rain was going to be the one that put lips on her
but instead it was her. I guess the woman's body overpowers the
man's soul. The part where she wanted to check out Rain's package
was hilarious too and that laugh of hers cracks me up.

And the promo for episode 4. The man in the woman's body is really
liking his female attire especially short short dresses. Nice to
see him in black pantyhose. ROFL at the good morning scene. They're

Wow. With the Viki translations you can really see so much more
than what was in the Lalolas. After watching episodes 3&4
righte fter Viki posted them, I was underwhelmed at the content,
othere than the kiss scene and the new outfit posing scene.
But 10 hours later, after the episode was translated, it was wow.
They are really having the new female character slowly experiencing
feminine emotions and trying to fight them.
The writing on this series is strong... from a TG point of view.

Oh Yeon Seo is gorgeous and funny. She's really playing the part of
a man locked in a woman's body pretty well in my opinion. The way
she will go from tough guy to girly girl is hilarious. That scene
where Rain made her try on that short tight black dress, black
hose, and black heels was great. She complained about the
pantyhose.
About the lady actress falling in love with Oh Yeon Seo's
character, I don't think so. If anything I think her bodyguard is
going to fall in love with Oh Yeon Seo's character.
The subtitles definitely help and make you see the show
differently. Even if you don't speak Korean, you can tell by the
body language and tone of voice as an idea of what they might be
talking about but at the same time a lot of the details are left
out since you can't understand them.

Just been reading the summary of the show on this page (you have to
scroll down a bit below "Subtitles and Volunteers").
I'm very impressed with how it gets just about every single detail
completely wrong which for what looks like an official studio
release from the people who made it is quite remarkable.

No, the translation is excellent, right down to including
explanations of the honorifics systems in formal conversation in
Korean when used in brackets as well as when people subvert them in
order to insult people.
I'm talking about the plot summary which looks like a promotional
blurb from the company which gets just about everything wrong. I
don't think the translation team had anything to do with it. It
also happens in English language films released domestically so
it's not a translation thing per se, it's a promotional department
getting it wrong by not doing the research or being given bad
information.
To paraphrase:
"Kim Young Soo literally died on the job - he worked so hard that
he keeled over and died while working without even realizing it."
No he didn't. He fell to his death from the building he worked at
when he went to fix an advertising banner that had come loose. Even
heaven thought he was stupid for trying to do that.
"In a strange twist, his spirit is allowed to take over the body of
Lee Hae Joon ..."
No he isn't. Heaven's computer created bodies for him and the other
guy which aren't supposed to be based on any living person. It just
happens to be just like someone else who is currently stranded on a
deserted island when his plane crash.
"... who works as a section chief of a department store's women's
apparel division ..."
No he isn't. He's the illegitimate son of the chairman in charge of
the whole corporation who's been given the job of fixing all the
problems and returning the business to profitability. If you think
all his troubles in getting to his job which the other guy who now
looks just like him aren't a coincidence, you'd be right. Anyway,
regardless of who's doing the job, it's in charge of the whole
store I believe.
"... for seven days ..."
No it isn't. They're supposed to catch the train to heaven in two
days because if they miss it, "something bad will happen". Two days
heaven time is two months earth time though (I hope they get to
stay and live out the rest of their lives as they were tragically
cut short).
I think what seems to have happened is that they've taken the
description of the Japanese source material and just punched in new
names without bothering to check and see if there's been any
changes - of which there's been quite a lot to the original
premise.
"It turns out that Hong Nan is a beautiful young woman whose body
is possessed by ..."
See above.
I'm actually quite relieved it's not a body possession story. Those
always seem unfair to the people whose body it actually is.

Thank you so much for the clarification. I was watching some
episodes and comparing it to the synopsis. Thought I had missed
something due to the inaccuracies. Great show. So grateful for the
wonderful subtitle team. Wish other shows from abroad had fans as
dedicated as these guys to produce high quality translations so
quickly.

I wish the people making the English subtitles for DVDs the world
over took as much trouble as these guys though sometimes the
mistakes are unintentionally hilarious.
At least I hope they're unintentional in at least a few cases.

So it is pretty clear why the male character came back. He needs to
prove his death isn't a suicide and help his family. But why is the
former mobster who is now a woman there? What does he have to
avenge?
I am trying to figure out why he wouldn't just go to Heaven instead
of remaining on Earth in that body.

The two jump off a train to Heaven. they were on their way. They
new woman states that she can't complete her business in this form,
and when offered the chance to go back to Heaven says she has
business to finish.
But the terminology has been vague and I can't tell what he/she is
working on or trying to accomplish. Anyway, if anyone has picked up
on that part of the plot, please share.

She will be wearing Rain's dress shirt and heels in the next
episode. I love the sexual tension between them. I loved the part
where she went into girly girl mode in order to get Rain to buy her
a fancy camera at the department store.

Episode 5 was nothing to speak of but Episode 6 is pretty good.
Episode 7 next Wednesday might be great.
Dramafever.com has much better translations than Viki, so if you
watch on Viki you may miss a lot. Viki posts 6 hours earlier, but
over time that diminishes. Or maybe over time the Viki translations
will be better. Just not so far.

The leather pants scene was hilarious. I love the bromance Rain and
Oh Yeon Seo have. She is completely okay with kissing him even
though her soul is male.

This is one of the first TV series that I've been actually waiting
for the next episode to come out. Most of these type of shows only
have one good episode in my option. This one has Oh Yeon Seo
struggling to walk in heels, bloody scratched up feet, panyhose
problem, makeup fail on friends face, sitting like a man and
leather pants struggles. Also the story is not to bad also. Can't
wait to see what else they have in store for next week episode.
