Since the shape-shifter character seems like they will be a
recurring character in the Supergirl
series, should we instead have an entry for that character, and
then list the episodes in which Martian Manhunter uses his (its?)
transformative powers?
Something like what we do with the "Grimm"
or "Winsome Witch"
series entries.

Quicksilver -- if you would like to create a new entry submission
for the "Martian Manhunter" character as portrayed in the
Television Series "Supergirl", I'll let you go ahead and do so, so
that you can take the credit for the entry.
If not, let me know, and I'll try to get one added shortly.

Manhunter pretending to be Kara once more.

I watched the clip for this weeks episode. I think this is the
impersonation we're looking for in Supergirl. Thanks @Random for
sharing it. Aside from TG impersonation, the show is getting
better. Reminds me of Agents of Shield.

Whoa. Thanks for the head's up Random. "Supergirl" is one of my
regular shows so I would watch it anyway but it's great knowing
there will be something more to look forward to. I hope Martian
Manhunter tells Cat off while he's in Kara's form, she has it
coming.
I agree guest2, the show itself is getting better. I heard there
will be a Supergirl/Flash crossover as well, I'm looking forward to
it.

I started to watch the clip of MM as Supergirl and the 1st thing he
trips on his heels and man walks. I'm sorry but MM has been women
enough times that this doesn't play. I like Melissa Benoist, so I
hope this poor direction and not easy out acting.

Repulso - It's true that MM has shapeshifted into women a lot over
the years but since this is a new show and a new take on the
character is it possible that this version of MM hasn't
shapeshifted into girls as much? I haven't seen the show so I'm not
sure.

Having seen the episode, I will say that the heel trip raaj
mentioned above was probably a bit lazy, but I'm guessing that this
version of J'onn may not have shapeshifter into female forms very
often. I also think that Benoist did a decent job mimicking the
body language David Harewood uses as Hank, so the whole "man walk"
thing doesn't bother me.
Sadly I think J'onn's telepathic skills need some fine-tuning after
seeing his interactions with Cat Grant as "Kara".

Guest-sure it's possible this version of MM hasn't done the female
shifting as much, hopefully he'll want to take uh..."lessons" to
get it even better the next time. Overall I think it's a good show.
DaveS: Agreed. For a telepath he doesn't seem to use these talents
alot. In an earlier episode he erased memories from a guard who
caught him sneaking into Maxwell Lord's company, why can't he do
the same with the now captured Maxwell Lord to remove memories of
his knowledge of Kara and the DEO?

He erased all memories of that guard, and regret it. And the
producers need a villain. They can't change it like it were comics.

That's what I was thinking too barack. Maxwell Lord seems to be
Supergirl's "Lex Luthor" and personally I'd like to see more of
him.

Thought this was a fun story for Supergirl fans. Chyler Leigh and
Melissa Benoist transforming into each other, and it's brought to
you by my personal favorite author in the transformation business
