No idea... doesn't really matter though - it never hits the main
site and it's not a huge hassle to clear it all out. All the spam
is gone now.
Plus I ordered some really cheap rolex watches from Russia! :P

I remember those self-winding watches, supposedly the type issued
to naval officers, that were coming out of Russia a while back...
kept good time for a while, then just stopped. I guess now they're
made to look like Rolexes instead...

I know that Paul is doing his best to keep them from spamming the
site... seems that every time he deletes the user, they come back
and re-sign up.
Until we can find the right solution... we'll just have to keep
battling... until someone gets me a physical address and a plane
ticket. :-P
Anyhow, I'll reject as many of them as I can before the bandwidth
limiter kicks me out.

Maybe you should put a captcha box on it to avoid automatic spam
submissions.... Just a suggestion

It's all cleared out.
I wrote a script this time that made removing them all quick and
easy. I'll be ready for him next time :P

There is a captcha box for any user who isn't logged-in (guests),
requiring one for users is likely something that would be more of
an annoyance. Especially for the Trusted Users when we are making
corrections/edits to many submissions and/or change requests.

No joy for tshortshort this time - he struck again with hundreds of
spams and they were gone in minutes. And now he gets no hits at all
from the admin previews. Huzzah!

Well, he's gone now. At least for now. And you're right, it's not
going to stop until the security of this site is upgraded.
I'm sure Lady Sekmet, CJ, and Paul can take care of it and find a
way to stop it. :)
