My wife and I plan to make a video tonight of us switching bodies,
would this amazing community be kind enough to give us some ideas

Well if it's rated x, I can't give you suggestions on this site ;)
I tried to do this with a friend who wouldn't go through with it,
but video taping you waking up in the foreign body, having the
other person off screen talking through some actions as if that
person were the voice inside the head, while the person on screen
would act through the thoughts. Or if he spoke, he was talking to
the person in his head.

Voice swap.
Not throughout the whole swap like chrisabunga or the kloons, but
something like talking to each other in their original voices but
talking to others in their body's voices. Maybe even take some time
fixing the voice problem or testing/experimenting with their voices
or something like that.

Yea a F2F swap would be awesome and not with just a shock that they
are in each others body but explore it, have them talk about being
a different height, seeing things from a different view, what its
like seeing the other F now in her body. Most movies skip all that.

Thoughts about this type of swap...
You want kids and she doesn't - once swapped, do you still want
kids? She certainly doesn't mind helping you make them, now that
she's the man.
You're into light bondage, but she's hesitant - then the tables are
turned... now you're the one who is apprehensive about getting tied
up.
Going out for a nice evening, you normally just shower, shave and
dress in some nice threads - now that you've swapped, you have to
deal with hair, makeup, heels, hose, and trying to match lingerie
to your outfit... and those accessories and jewelry options. (this
would be before your "X-rated" stuff). And what about when out,
walking in heels, minding your appearance while dining, not eating
too much, comportment and composure, struggling with tight evening
gown while attending to "business"... and "freshening up".
And her long hair and breasts and bra... always getting in the way
or annoying the heck out of you. Getting that long hair caught in
things, and dangling earrings getting caught... and long nails
