While there isn't a ton of female bodyswap/possession/shapeshifts
on TV & Movies, the vast majority are usually short term where the
original female gets her body back by the end of the episode or
movie. I personally really enjoy when the female
bodyswap/possession/shapeshift are permanent (where the original
female doesn't get her body back) by the end of the episode or
movie. I've listed some of the few TV Shows/Movies that end with
permanent bodyswap/possession/shapeshift. PLEASE BEWARE SPOILER
ALERT.

It would appear the vast majority of the permanent swaps are in
Movies, which makes sense since TV shows often have to go on for
longer periods of time than a movie does. I also really like a lot
of the F2F captions on tehswitcher's blog (especially The Bride,
where a woman tries to steal her ex-huband's new fiance's life to
get married to him). Does anybody know of other TV/Movies that have
permanent bodyswap/possession/shapeshift?

Also, exactly what happens IN L'Anima Gemella?
In a Korean limited series 'Come Back Soon ' a beautiful young
stewardess is swapped with the middle aged wife of the man she is
having an affair with, Many good moments & towards the end she she
stops trying to swap back, accepting hwr punishment from a god when
she wished to be the wife & mom of her BF.
Unfortuantely eventually they do swap back, convention I assume.
BUt it would have been a better story I htink if they hadn't
As in Wish upon a star, I think it would have been better & both
sisters better off if they hadn't swapped back.

Spoilers Below:
The Originals has to do with "Rebekah Mikaelson". During the 2nd
season, they transfer her soul from a blonde (Claire Holt) to an
african-american woman (Maisie Richardson-Sellers). I'm not sure of
the story line but they didn't want to have to pay Claire Holt the
money she wanted so they swapped her into a new body so the
character could continue but they have a new, cheaper actress. I
guess in this last weeks episode they pretty much made it permanent
that "Rebekah" would be in Maisie Richardson-Sellers's body for the
foreseeable future. I haven't seen the episode (Exquisite Corpse)
but I've read the summary and pretty much a done deal.
There was an Korean movie, "Fetish" from 2010 that has a permanent
female switch at the end.

At the end of the Korean movie Miss Change, an old woman takes over
the young girl's body and then the film ends.

the new episode of Once Upon a Time "HEart of GOld" was awesome.
what a great twist to the season and really has a dark, evil theme
that I can't get enough of.

I still can't get enough of the most recent Once Upon a Time
episode. It's like the Camelot series but even better because the
"audience" had no idea that Marian wasn't herself for all of season
4 (currently on episode 18) we as the Camelot episode the audience
knew it was Morgan the whole time.
Good stuff. And Christie Laing is a knock out...

I just found a permanent possession today. It's from this 2014 Thai
movie called "Spell". This ugly gives a girl a love potion which
unbeknownst to him contains the essence of nymphomaniac that was
previously murdered. The ghost takes possession of the girl AND SHE
NEVER LEAVES. And the end of the movie the ghost either completely
takes over the girls body or they both accept living on together as
one (I think its the latter).
