Simple app to create the vr body swap illusion that you've probably read about by now. Only problem is that both people have to be on the same wifi network at this point.

It's a shame someone hasn't released something similar for iPhone and the Hasbro My3D device. I know you couldn't broadcast 3D images but that device would be perfect for an app like this. Someone could make a lot of money right now if they knew how to program it.

Yeah but in order for it to work with Google Cardboard or Hasbro My3D viewers it would have to be the same image side by side on the screen. If someone could find a way to make FaceTime display side by side like that from the same source then that would do the trick.

But if you are seeing the feed from someone else's phone with your phone in front of your face wouldn't you run into everything or fall on your phone on your face?

I think it would be really cool if you could actually trick your brains into thinking that you've really swapped bodies and to compensate your bodies decide to "swap back" in your sleep, effectively switching your minds.

Your post tricked my brain, I almost couldn't compensate. :-P

But yeah, that would be pretty cool... and hopefully not only reversible, but allowing for repetitive tries.
