Oh come on, that's bullsh*t. A youtube video does not break
copyright and if it does it's youtubes problem. I don't see every
youtube video link getting deleted on this page

Most YouTube videos link to clips, not entire movies. I deleted the
posted link as a "better safe than sorry" measure. If one of the
other admins wants to restore it, they certainly can.

24 min : when the strong bald guy (in reality, Dima in disguise)
makes leave the squatters, we can see his own reflection in the
mirror instead of Dima's one. It's a mistake.

Just copy-and-paste "Полное превращение" on YouTube, filter by
Upload Date, and the full movie should show up somewhere on the 1st
results page :-)

I reinstating post 138 - YouTube has copyright takedown enforcement
that watches for infringement.
I'm also locking this thread to guest posters. Repeated abuse of
Linking to Complete Copyrighted works.

Only one direct URL I published at post #150 was:

This site can be shut down by posting direct links to copyright
material. I do not blame CJ for being gungho about that. I got a
copy and am thinking about asking a friend who is a Russian
translator to hook me up with a translation.

Although the Posting Guidelines
state that DIRECT
links to COMPLETE
copyrighted works are not permitted here; the site's FAQ
page explains the site owner's wishes on the treatment of
copyrighted materials. Sometimes it's difficult to decide whether
or not to allow certain links and/or remove others. That's one of
the reasons why there are several Trusted Users.
If you drop a link to a video on YouTube or Vimeo, etc. where there
are clear policies and procedures in place to deal with remediation
of copyright infringement claims, the link is less likely to be
removed from here.
If you hint at a search term that someone can use on a particular
site to find the video (longer than a clip), your post MIGHT NOT be
removed - depends on the situation and the site and the hint and
the material.
If you drop a link to a file-sharing site and the content is a
significant portion of the copyrighted work, it is likely to be
removed. If we have to jump through hoops to verify whether it is a
risk to us or not, or put our computers at risk by installing some
unknown software - that's a sign that it is either rouge and/or
breaks the law somewhere, and ~I~ (I can't speak for the other
trusted users) will err on the side of caution.

I'll keep trying. I'd hate to think that I'm the reason that this
site is less fun than it used to be. I remember when we used to
have plenty of discussions about transformation-related topics. It
was less about "help me find" and more "have you seen". But more
than that, it generated some very thought-provoking conversations
and opened my mind to a much wider world. I miss those deep-thought
conversations.

of funny, but people who have been waiting on pins and needles in
